Leonard was aware this game had been a labor of love (or maybe lust but definitely still mostly love) by the previous owner. Even the three Digimon who weren’t in the party had maxed out Levels, Stats, and Friendship scores. Whatever he was going to do with his Digivice needed to include all nine of them, and luckily his math let him accomplish that cleanly.

“15 billion for the Digivice, 70 million for each Digimon, with the 999,999 left over used for a quick test.” he declared, a smile on his face as he watched the handheld console start to glow in his hands. “Huh. That doesn’t normally happen.” he muttered to himself.

The blinding light eventually died down, revealing in its place some kind of small smartphone. “W-What was the test?” Erica asked, still a little freaked out by the intense visuals of the Transfer.

Lenny explained “You brought up a good point about money, so I thought I’d see what a full Digital World Wallet meant in terms of American Dollars.” before holding up a sizable stack of bills. “Turns out it’s $50 when I get it in one dollar increments. Any bigger denominations would’ve lowered the total, this was the best I could do.”

His roommate laughed “Well, probably should’ve guessed it wouldn’t be that straightforward. I think it’s time for bed, luckily I already got the sheets cleaned.” as she left for the bedroom.

“Right. See you there.” he nodded, before pulling out his regular phone to compare with his new “Digivice”. The difference was like night and day, even putting aside the scratches and screen-cracks on his regular phone. It almost looked like the sort of thing he’d get from an upgrade at his cell provider’s store, provided a generous promotion was occurring.

Leonard raised an eyebrow, and pondered “Maybe if I could sync my conta—Oh, it’s doing a thing.” before his old phone was absorbed by the new item, suddenly glowing again as it pulled the damaged hardware into itself. The outside shifted, and his “Digivice” was now a repaired version of his “regular device”.

“Huh, that’s actually better.” he sighed, before going to bed.

The next morning Leonard woke up much earlier than Erica, and he decided to once again partake of his collection of cauldrons that had once again grown even more potent as the date changed. Once his roommate was finally up, they reconvened to the apartment bathroom for another round of mind-clearing coitus.

They’d finished their Mana Transfer a lot quicker this time, in more ways than one. “Are you sure you needed more of that stuff? I thought you said it gave you a weirdly long-lasting boner.” she asked as she pulled on her jeans.

Lenny tapped his foot as he waited on the couch, replying “I just have a lot more energy now. It’s not even like a caffeine thing, my stamina’s just actually been boosted. It’s crazy, I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying it. Sorry I didn’t save you a cauldron, I’ll wake you up for one tomorrow.” with noticeably more enthusiasm than normal. He rapidly scrolled through his Digivice-phone’s apps, checking on multiple different social media feeds near-simultaneously, before finding a new feature that tracked the nine Digi-Eggs he’d transferred from the game.

They were listed in order as “Pink”, “Purple”, “Evil Spot”, “Green”, “Heroine”, “Baby”, “Black”, “Green #2”, and “Grey”, with corresponding pictures. Each egg looked the way its name implied, at least for the ones that were just colors. “Evil Spot” was white with purple markings like scars, “Heroine” was pink with circular spots that were a much lighter pink, and “Baby” was a sky blue with a single yellow star on the front.

“Well, I’m still your girlfriend. Overfilling your LP too much could be dangerous in real life. I can’t help it if I get worried.” Erica pointed out, tenderness in her voice as she stepped over to the couch. She then pointed out “Also, you’re still hard. I dunno if Ms. Prift is gonna be cool with it a second day in a row, it’s not like there’s another threesome she can drag you into.” as she sat down next to him to put on her shoes.

He chuckled “To be honest, it might need to be a fivesome at this point. It feels like I could literally fuck all night with no breaks.” as he checked every available option for his new Digi-Eggs, of which there were few. They’d need to hatch somehow, but he wasn’t sure what the bundles of data needed aside from time. But, there was more pressing matters. He stammered “Also, q-quick question, would you be okay if I, uh… t-took a quick ‘shower’…?” as he slipped his phone back in his pocket.

Erica blinked a couple times, took a deep breath, and finally said “Uh… didn’t you do that already…?” with a confused eyebrow raised. But then her eyes widened and she realized “Wait, I get it now. U-Um, you can… take as long a shower as you need. I’ll get the car started, I can drive today.”

Leonard nodded “Okay, I won’t be long.” He quickly rose from the couch, muttering “At least, I shouldn’t be. I’ll do my best.” before starting a mad dash to the bathroom, shedding his clothing as he ran.

Due to the sudden nudity, it was obvious to anyone watching that Lenny had somehow started to develop a leaner physique than before. Still short as ever, but his paunch was certainly shrinking.

Erica already knew as much, of course. They’d just screwed six ways to Sunday a few minutes ago.
