8. She’s in the outer office, but so is her boyfriend

You peek your head out of your door and see Nikki is there. Grinning and opening the door a little wider, before you can open your mouth you see a young man standing across from her.

“Hello?”

“Hi!” He waves, “I’m Liam.” He puts out his hand to shake yours.

“My boyfriend.” Nikki looks a little pale as she watches the two of you shake hands: her baby daddy and her boyfriend, two different men.

“I see.” A wicked idea crosses your mind, “I can see you’re on your way out, but can I just need to borrow Nikki for some admin stuff. Wait out here, would you? Nikki, with me.”
