What to do?
Convince him to move away from his post
I knew I was close enough to my professor to get him to accept my advances, to change his mind about his task, and to open up a whole new area for out party. I just needed to play my cards right.
Grabbing a cup of punch from the table, I get closer to him, a huge smile plastered on my face.
"Thirsty, professor?"
Mr. Bekham eyed me up, appreciating what he was seeing.
"That's very kind of you, $name. Thank you."
I sigh, resting my back against the wall near him.
"Why aren't you out there dancing with your friends?" He asked, biting.
"They're kids. No offense, but none of them even knows how to dance, let alone interest me."
Bekham smiled, agreeing with my statement.
"I don't even know why the school organized such an event. It's not like valentine should mean anything to your generation."
I bat my eyelashes at him, putting on my best performance.
"It might not mean much, but it is nice to be cared for, you know.."I say with a dreamy tone, before continuing. "Do you get what I mean, professor?"
"Please call me Bekham." He said, "I see what you're saying. I know what you mean."
