Chapter 89
by Spation
Is it finally time for the movies?
movies, movies, movies
After lunch the children were impatient and stormed into the movie room. Oz took a large bag of kernels, butter and salt with him. He fired up the pop-corn machine while the children occupied the first row of beanbags – one of them putting his legs on a second beanbag. In the end Juan and the children opted for a family friendly adventure movie which seemed to have a lot of promising gags and more action than speaking. Maria was seated on a bean bag in the latter rows, because she said that her eyes would get strained and the big speakers in the front would be too loud for her. Juan agreed and placed himself behind the children. Oz also turned on the air conditioner and told them that there are blankets if they needed some.
Once Oz set up everything for the movie the popcorn machine was done making a big load of popcorn. The children, as if in a movie theatre, made a queue with Juan at the end, each of them holding a big plastic bowl from the kitchen which Maria brought. Everyone got their fill and chose a can of soda and a bag of other snacks. Once everyone was seated again, Oz dimmed the lights and started the movie.
Paper popcorn bag?!
