Jam Sesh!
I take a seat across from the woman, gently plucking at the strings of the lute, testing the tune and making minor ajustments. Once Im satisfied, I look at Alfira and, with a smile, start up the tune I'd overheard.
Tav: "Why are you writing it?"
Alfira: "Its... to honour my teacher..."
Tav: "Its sad. Did something happen?"
Alfira: "...Gnolls got her."
Tav: "Sorry to hear it. Show me what you have"
Alfira nods and plays a little louder, becoming the primary, as her melodic voice echoes out over the grove.

Tav: "That was.... Beautiful. Your teacher would be proud"
Alfira: "Thank you. I'd forgotten what it is to play. To REALLY play. To get lost in the music."
Tav: "You're really onto something, you should write it down"
Beaming, Alfira resumes her seat and begins scrawling on some parchment. Not wanting to interrupt, I rise from my place and turn to leave.
Alfira: "Thank you. Im going to finish the Weeping Dawn, for her. And its thanks to you."
I give her a smile and head on my way.
