The Collins' Family: Suburbia

Your fingers flick over the folder that was just placed on your desk. The first round of test subjects has been confirmed, and they were currently on the way to move into the new staging area. Everything was going according to plan, and you couldn’t help but let out a chuckle as you skimmed through the overview information in the file.

The Collins family has been chosen for this test due to the idyllic nature of the group. From the outside they look like your average American family. A husband, a mother, a daughter, and a son. What makes this family unique however is that the father, Adam Collins, is an employee here at the company.

Adam was an average employee who has held tenure with the CHYOA group for some time. His work is consistent, but unimpressive. He seemed to be on track to retire in a few decades with a full pension, and the medical insurance that came from working for a company as an accounting director. Management however feels that he and his family have their uses elsewhere.

Under the guise of a promotion the company has promised Adam the chance to grow his career and establish himself with the company for years to come. As part of the offer a downpayment has been placed on a home that will give his family access to the best schools in the area for his children and is located near a bustling shopping district that holds almost every amenity imaginable.

Anyone would be a fool to turn down the offer. With the signature of acceptance barely dry on the page, Adam had given his notice, and decided this was the path he wanted to take. The family would be moved in by the start of next week, and then the reports would start.
