Side-Story: Hellcat on the Case

After a long day, the super-heroine Hellcat steps into her apartment. Well, it wasn't really her apartment, she was borrowing it from a friend, but she didn't really sweat the details.

After getting out of her costume, Pasty say down, opened her laptop, and started going through her emails. However, she was interrupted by a phone call.

“Hello?”

“Hi, is this Patsy Walker? This is Tim Bailey, from Agency Corner.”

“Yes, this is her. What's up?”

“Are you still in the area? 'Cause something weird happened here.“ The man on the other end trailed off.

Patsy sat up, asking “How weird are we talking?”

An hour later, Patsy is at the agency's office, watching security footage from earlier that day. She sees a young woman checking in for an appointment, only to be sucked up by a strange blue light. The missing woman in question was Mary Jane Watson, an aspiring model that Patsy meet by chance not too long ago. She had recently graduated from college and was looking for a more permanent position at an agency. When Patsy offered to recommend her for Agency Corner in LA, she quickly accepted.

And now, she was just gone, without a trace.

Rachel, the receptionist, said, "After she vanished, we tried calling her. When that didn't work, we called the police, but they were just stumped, no clue where she had gone. We were hoping you might know something, that you can tell the authorities."

Patsy sighed, saying "No, I don't know, but I know some people who might."

When she asked for a copy of the footage, Rachel was conflicted, but agreed, giving her a USB drive. Patsy then turned to leave, saying "I'll call you when I find something."

Once outside the building, Patsy thought to herself, okay, we got a young woman taken by a mysterious blue light. Who do I know that can help?

Thankfully, the answer came to her, as she pulled out her phone, and looked through her contacts.
