Back at the Ranch

"Oh man that was good!"

Harley Quinn stepped out on the porch patting her stomach. She'd stepped out to get some air and take in the view. "I'm more of a city girl but it's always impressive out here! Hold up... what's this?"

She laughed and said, "Cowboys!" Before she started humming a familiar tune from an old show as a Firefly class transport with the 3S logo landed. The ramp lowered and several people disembarked then waved to the departing ship and then her. "Must be more of the family come home for dinner," she said smiling and waving back.

Penny grinned leading the way. "Salutations! Are you the Harley Quinn we've heard about?"

Harley nodded. "Yeah that's me! You must be Penny that we've heard so much about. Dave's inside and- whoa! Hahaha!" Penny had nearly tackled her with a big hug. "Yer affectionate! It's nice to meetcha!"

"It is wonderful to meet you, Harley!" Penny agreed happily. "We have been looking forward to meeting the both of you! And congratulations on your anniversary!"

Harley smiled. "Awwww! Thank you! You gals are sweet! Congratulations to you too! Mistah S is a great guy! Almost as wonderful as my Puddin'!"

Penny blinked. "Oh, I'll have to try that sometime. I like to make cookies myself. If you'd like I'll send you some!"

Harley laughed. "You're a hoot! Yeah that sounds great but "Puddin's" my nickname for Dave!"

"Ooohhh," Penny said. "A special nickname! I understand. So he is like a soft dish that is either sweet or savory."

Harley blinked then started laughing hard. "Ahahahaha! Yer a riot! Hahahah! Oh hiya dark bun-bun! Good to see ya again!"

Raven rolled her eyes and twitched her rabbit ears. "Hi Harley... and don't call me that."

Harley hugged her patting her head. "Awwww... but it's kyute jes wike widdle you!"

Penny nodded in agreement. "She really is quite cute!"

"Whatever..." Raven said in a monotone but her foot started tapping happily. "Nice to see you again too, I guess."

Anastasia walked up onto the porch and Harley waved as she cuddled Raven. "Hiya Ana! Where's the rest of the Villain-anon ladies? You didn't come today. Only Pirotess. Did you guys get in trouble?"

The Baroness looked at Harley and adjusted her glasses. "Hello Harleen. Mystique is still with Walter as is Neopolitan and some of the others. We were given the day off if we assisted him in his world subjugation and domination plots today. We'll most likely attend the next meeting."

Harley grinned. "So you got the day off for good behavior? Good for you!"

Anastasia scoffed but almost smiled. ""Good" is a subjective term."

Penny smiled. "But you did enjoy yourself, did you not? Also you say subjugation and domination but it also protected and saved a lot of people and you were a part of that today. I think that you were very good indeed!"

Anastasia regarded Penny as Harley laughed. As usual she could detect no deceit nor anything but genuine honesty from her. "Your fuzzy logic never ceases to amaze me... but I must admit that it felt good to be out on a mission in the field today and for it to be successful." She crossed her arms but smiled very slightly. "And speaking of it isn't over yet! Make certain you ladies get to the armory with KL-E-O and return any and check back in all extra ordinance and equipment at your earliest opportunity! Understood?"

There's a chorus of affirmations and Yang said stading next to a large crate that Blake was happily laying on top of hugging the precious cargo, "Yeah. Let's stow the seafood delivery and get some grub!"

Tsuyu nodded. "Let's hop to it then! Ribbit!" Said the frog like heroine.

Yang grinned and high-fived her. "Good one, Tsu!"

Penny put her finger to her chin, tilting her head. "Harleen?"

Harley rolled her eyes. "Ana's being cold. Dr Harleen Quinzel is my alter ego but that's not fun. Harley Quinn is way better and that's what everyone knows me by! But you guys can just call me Harls. All my friends do!"

Penny nodded and took Harley's arm. "I understand Harls and I can not wait to meet Dave and get to know you both better!"

Harley smiled and shrugged. "Sure thing! I'll introduce ya but I hope ya understand if I drag him away to the cabin for a bit!" She winked.

Penny nodded enthusiasticly. "I completely understand! Be sure and let us know if you two need anything for your amorous pursuits. We want you two to enjoy your stay as much as possible!"

Harley Quinn grinned. "Awesome!" She whispered to her. "Tween you an' me we're going ta do it doggy style later and I could use some condoms! I kinda forgot to pack any." She laughed "Tee hee" and knocked on her head while sticking out her tongue.

Penny blushed but smiled and giggled, nodding. "Oh, that is a fun position and I'm sure we can get you whatever kind you like!"

Harley blinked. "Position? Nah not that. I'm gonna wear doggie ears an' a tail and make balloon animals outta prophylactics!"

Penny blinked. "Oh! Well that sounds fun too!"

Harley grinned. "Right? Thanks Penny! Ya know... I think this might just be the start of a beautiful friendship!"
