Amanda's Transformation

Walking along the hallway, Amanda asked Ace:

"You still remember that I ordered to destroy you last time. So I assume that you also remember who carried the order?"

"Of course I do. Bruce Wayne."

"Oh, you know? Sorry, I shouldn't be surprised. You can read mind."

"But what does he have anything to do with my resurrection?"

"Everything."

Amanda placed her hand on the fingerprint scanner, and the metal door opened:

"Welcome to Project Batman Beyond 2.0."

"Did you know I was the government liaison with the Justice League for a while?

I've met some extraordinary people in that job. But none of them were the equal of Batman.

I saw him save the day dozens of times, with nothing but his wits, body, and will.

The thought of a world without Batman was unacceptable."

Ace: "So you decided to make a new one?"

She handed Ace a file. Ace read it in shock and awe: "You're insane."

"You made countless people insane before. Do I look like one to you?"

"But this is impossible! Nonsense! Unrealistics!"

"With this, nothing is impossible."

Amanda handed Ace a necklace:

"I know you don't like people to strap you into machines and poke wires into your brain, and you have a trauma about headbands, so I chose this design."

"What's this?"

"A device that can help you unlock your full power without a massive aneurysm."

Ace hesitated, but she could tell that Amanda was sincere. She wore the necklace.

"Don't feel anything different."

"Then try it. Can you turn me back to the 18-year-old me?"

Ace focused her mind, and it worked. The old Amanda Waller was replaced by a younger version.

"Oh, I haven't felt that good in decades. Hm... do you mind removing these fat?"

Amanda immediately became slim.

"Now these clothes become so loose. Ah, you don't need to use your power, I can change clothes myself."
