She started to laugh

Suddenly, Dani's mom started to giggle, then the giggles turned into a laughing fit.

"Oh my, Dani!" her mom exclaimed between laughs. "What in the world are you doing? Why are you and that cute boy naked?"

Dani was too dumbfounded to respond.

"It's her birthday, so she's wearing her birthday suit!" Emilia answered happily for Dani. "Isn't it great? She's going to spend her entire shift like this!"

"That's amazing!" Dani's mom replied. "Why didn't I think of that? It's perfect! But what about that boy, why is he naked?"

"Oh yeah, it's my birthday too!" Brandon replied. "What a crazy coincidence. I'm Brandon, by the way."

The naked boy reached out his hand and Dani's mom enthusiastically shook hands with him and introduced herself. She was still laughing at the sheer craziness of everything.

Dani didn't know what to do. She knew her mom would love this, like she said, she was trying to get Dani to do wild and crazy things, but Dani preferred gaming and watching anime. But to be totally, stark naked at work would be a pipe dream for her mom, and here she is. She braced herself for whatever happened next, because she knew that her mom wouldn't let this moment pass by. In fact, doing something like this would only embolden her mom do step up her efforts to bring Dani out of her shell, and she feared what those would be.

"Wow, I just wanted to come by before work to give you your gift, I wasn't expecting anything like this!" Dani's mom said. "Way to go Dani! And Brandon! This is the best thing I've seen in a while."

"Thank you!" Brandon replied enthusiastically. "And I didn't realize you were Dani's mom, you look more like her sister."

"Oh, stop!" Dani's mom laughed. "You're too sweet!"

Dani was the only person who seemed uncomfortable with everything. She was butt naked at work, and will be for hours, with her equally naked crush and her mom. And her shift barely even started! She regretted ever taking Emilia's bet, or at least following through with the ridiculous challenge of working naked.
