Jessica’s turn

The group decide that they’be had enough pizza for now, and that they should continue their game.

“Alright, who’s turn was it again?” Sarah asks the group.

“I’m pretty sure it’s Jess’s turn,” Yuri says.

“Really? Ok…” Jessica says, scanning the room to find her next target.

Her eyes land on Emily, who hasn’t gotten picked nearly as much as the rest of them.

“Emily, truth or dare?” Jessica asks.

Emily takes a moment to finish off her slice before answering. She takes her hand to her chin and weighs her decisions.

“Hmmm, Dare!” Emily says.

“Alright, I dare you to….” Jessica trails off, trying her best to think up a good dare.

She doesn’t want to just reuse an old dare, cause that would be boring, but she wants to really challenge Emily.

Uncharacteristically, Jessica remembers that Emily is wearing a singular shirt, which gives her a naughty idea.

“To do a hand stand for 20 seconds!” Jessica exclaims.

Emily’s face grows red in embarrassment. She looks to the side and covers her mouth with her hand.

“T-That’s definitely a bit daring,” Emily says in a soft voice.

“Wait, does she even know how to do a handstand?” Casandra asks.

“Yeah! Emily and I used to do handstands as kids back in the day!” Sarah explains. She vividly remembers watching Emily doing a handstand for a whole 2 minutes once. She found it very impressive when she first saw it, but she fears that Emily won’t have the same ability today to do it.

Emily stands up from her seat and looks around her surroundings. Her legs scrape against each other in nervousness.

“Can you move the table back some?” Emily asks Jessica.

Jessica complies, moving herself and the table back enough to allow Emily plenty of room.

Emily looks down at the floor, heart racing and cheeks flushed as she decides whether to do the dare or not.
