A Surprise Visit

Makoto stood there for a few moments waiting for something to happen. He stood there for about a minute and all that time Sayaka just stood there with the same facial expression. “So, she’s like a doll now huh”, Makoto wondered aloud. “Right you are, my dear cub”, a high-pitched cheery voice suddenly came from behind Sayaka. Makoto did not need to see to verify whose voice that was.

“Monokuma, what are you doing here?”, Makoto asked as Monokuma revealed himself. “Well I have been seeing that you’re progressing with this new game beary well”, as Monokuma was talking, he climbed on Sayaka’s body and sat on the top of her head, “And as your reward, and also for more of my entertainment, I’ll be handing out some special prizes to you, Oh and can you hand me one of her hands”.

Makoto understood that he was not going to make himself more clear unless he did that. So, he grabbed Sayaka’s right arm and hoisted it on the top of her head. When he let go, it amazingly stayed in place in the exact location he left it in. Monokuma grabbed her hand and made it into a fist with her index finger sticking out and inserted it in her nose.

“There, now that we have something funny to look at, let’s continue. Bear was I?”, Monokuma said. “Uh…something about a reward”, Makoto muttered out. “Oooooh rightie, well kiddo if you check your handbook, you’ll discover that there is now an icon there”, Monokuma continued.

Makoto opened his handbook to check. Soon enough he did find an icon in the bottom-left corner with Monokuma’s face on it. He tried tapping it but it didn’t open. “Oh, forgot that I had it locked”, Monokuma said. “Well then, why don’t you unlock it?”, Makoto asked.

“Well I could, but you know me, I’m a bear with an entertainment span of about ten seconds, so entertain me up and have that unlocked in exchange”, Monokuma said. Makoto knew that there was only one thing he meant when he said that. He took Sayaka’s other hand and raised it a bit higher in the air and left it there. “No…No…No, you can’t just do that and expect a passing grade mista”, Monokuma spoke animatedly, “C’mon, y’can do better than that for entertainment”.

Makoto knew that just moving her randomly wasn’t going to make Monokuma satisfied, so he decided to make her left hand into a fist with her thumb sticking out and then put it in her mouth. “He…He…He, now you got some sense of humor kiddo”, Monokuma finally looked satisfied sitting on top of a frozen Sayaka with one hand poking her nose and with her having the thumb of her other hand in her mouth. “Okay, now for your reward, just tap on the icon three times in quick succession, it will automatically unlock itself”, Monokuma stated.

“You couldn’t have told that to me earlier”, Makoto practically shouted. “And ruin all the fun, sorry, not paw-sible for me”, Monokuma laughed. Makoto did not want to admit it himself, but seeing Sayaka like this also made him amused. He quickly connected back to the real world from his imaginations cause he had to find out what the icon was all about.

He tapped it three times and sure enough, it opened and Makoto saw a lot of boxes in there, some colored blue and some red, he scrolled down for quite a while, seeing empty boxes before it finally ended. “What are these?”, he enquired. “Well, these boxes once filled will give you more features to toy around with, with the ladies”, Monokuma stated. “And how do I fill them”, Makoto asked raising an eyebrow. “Easy as making ice-cream in the desert, the blue ones can be filled by finding some special Monocoins I’ve hidden round the school, and If you tap the red boxes, it will give you an action, which once completed, will unlock them”, Monokuma said and pretended to look at a watch on his wrist, “Oh look at the time, I have gotta go, no one likes a hungry bear. Keep me entertained kiddo, you’re living up to my expectations so far”, Monokuma said and immediately jumped off Sayaka and disappeared behind her.

“Okay, I’ve got to find more about what these boxes are all about. My top priority is getting everyone out of here”, Makoto thought and then looked at Sayaka frozen in the silly pose, “and maybe have a little bit of fun while I’m at it”, a secondary thought slipped out of his mind.
