First day of adventure

You step outside and start making your way to the center of town, which has the main road leading out into the world.

You pass through town and are greeted by some of the towns folk.

"Hey, Clara! Good luck out there."

"Yeah, Clara, kick some ass and win a lot of money for the town!"

A bright smile crosses your face. "Thanks everyone, I won't let you down."

You continue to walk and arrive at the center of town, where you stop and take a minute to study a map of the region. Your goal is to reach Astra, the first regent you'll need to beat and the closest in distance.

You jolt as a yelp a little as a hand splash your ass.

"Hey cock tease" You hear a familiar voice call from behind you.

Angus.

"What the hell is your problem!?" You yell, turning around to face him.

"Just checking out the merchandise, making sure you'll be able to pay up if I end up winning against you."

Angus puts his hand on your shoulder, stoping you in place.

Angus gets closer as he puts his head on your neck, you can feel his warm breath seeping into your ear

"Alright deal, I am planning on being the Champion King anyway and what better way to start off my journey than to beat you of all people. I've had it with you, your such an asshole it's unbelievable, finally I'll be free from your shit I have to put up with everyday." you says with confidence, the choice was clear for you, if you win here and now you won't ever have to deal with him again. that's something you had dreamt of for years.
