13. Yasmina comes by your office

You settle back into your chair, but before you know it there’s a knock on your door.

“Come in.” You call out.

A familiar, curly haired Yasmina pokes her head in. “Um, hi, can I…”

“Come on in.” You wave to her to sit across from you.

She closes the door behind her and comes to sit across from you.

“What can I do for you?” You cross your hands over your stomach and lean back in your chair.

“So… well…” Yasmina pauses, clearly unsure what to say, “well, I hooked up with Logan. Like properly. And… well it wasn’t as good.”

You tilt your head, “I’m sorry to hear that.”

“Like,” she continues, “I didn’t… finish.”

“I’m very sorry to hear that.”

“And…” she blushes. She can’t get the words out.

You let the silence hang in the air. She needs to be the one to make the ask.
