Kim Enters Santa´s Worskshop

Kim and Harako stepped into a white field. Nothing but snow and ice for miles around them, with one big exception. In front of them was a giant green and red warehouse, a chimney at the top of it spewing rainbow smoke. It was impossible to see just how big the place was, it

stretched beyond the horizon.

“Aaaaaah!” Kim and Harako squealed as a powerful gust of polar wind caressed their bare legs and arms. Their knees began to shake like maracas, their teeth chattering. “L-let's h-hurry inside.”

Both girls went through the front door to the magical warehouse. They were greeted by a small man half their size. He had pointy ears and was wearing a red overall that fit snuggly around his tiny body. Behind him, more miniature workers drove forklifts and carried gift boxes around the surprisingly normal warehouse.

“Who are you? How did you get here?” the man asked, somewhat alarmed.

“…Err, we are elves, like you! …We went out for a little smoke break,” Harako replied, forcing herself to smile.

“ Elf my foot, you are taller than most of the doors here.”

“…Hmm,” Harako looked at Kim, shrugging her shoulders.

“… Listen, me and my sister here are half-giant, ok? We didn’t ask to be born this tall! Not our fault our mom had a very peculiar type!” Kim yelled.

“Bu-”

“But nothing. Do you think it was fun for us to be bullied all the time growing up by the other elves? To buy extra-large clothes that STILL don't fit us? I thought that Santa's workshop was an accepting place, you know? It's sad to see that's only a lie for PR.”

“I-I'm sorry. I had no idea.”

“Damn right you didn’t. Now, can you please tell us where Santa's sled is? I got so worked up that I forgot where it is! We need to go, err, polish it one last time before the big man goes on tour.”

“Sure, the quickest way is to go across that door, turn left at the automated assembly line, go into the break room, and then turn right at the intersection.”

“Thanks. Now, if you'll excuse us…”

With an indignant huff, both girls turned their noses up and began to walk away. The lie seemed satisfactory; all the other elves gave the duo side glances but left them alone as they walked between the boxes, forklifts, and candy-colored cranes. “…Wow, nice performance,” Harako said.

“Thanks! Now come on, let's find this fake Santa's sled so we can go back to our holiday.”

Kim nervously dragged down the hem of her skirt. Considering that the fabric barely reached into her thighs and that the average elf vantage point was more or less at the same level, she had to take matters into her hands to stop half the jolly warehouse from seeing the full moon rising behind her legs.

“You still don't believe it, huh? Even as we are inside SANTA'S workshop,” Harako replied, pointing at the glowing sign above her head.

“All I know is that I've always been a good girl and never got a gift from that fat bastard, so yeah, I think this is a scam. Maybe he is a demon cosplaying as Santa to get cheap elf labor? But we are still getting paid, so whatever. Let's do this.”

Kim opened a door to reveal a massive room. Labyrinthine conveyor belts went up and down, dragging all kinds of toys across them. Colorful mechanical arms placed boxes around these items and then tied ribbons on top of them. “So, we have to go lef-”

“You huff stop right there.” Someone yelled from behind the duo, running at full speed. Unlike everyone else in the workshop, she was a tall woman, half a head bigger than Kim. She stopped inside the assembly line to catch her breath.

Her flawless skin was the color of mocha, her chestnut hair flowed freely across her shoulders. Her ears were pointy, and the features on her face were sharp and refined, as if a sculptor took the time to chisel her small nose and full lips to perfection.

A pair of square glasses framed her emerald eyes. She was also wearing a short green skirt that seemed about to burst with how tight it wrapped around her curves. It did little to cover her toned legs and arms, she might as well be wearing a Christmas leotard.
