Remove the amulet at once!

With great fury, you grab the amulet, and begin to **** it out of your chest. It begins to glow red again, and you feel the great pain again. You know you have to endure it to get this thing out of you, and you press on. You think of your step-father, and how strong he would want you to be in this moment. Finally, the amulet flies from your chest, and out an open window.

Free from its demonic power, you walk from the attic with a greater appreciation for life. You have faced temptation, and endured pain to make sure your life is your own. You can still see a scar where the amulet was, but it might vanish over time. You leave the attic, content with the action you chose.

In your room, several hours later, your step-sister Jessica barges in. You turn to face her and yell, "Geez, Jessica! I keep telling you, you can't come in here whenever you want!"

"Move over, turd bomber, I need your computer."

"You have your own computer!"

"Mine broke, that's why I need yours!"

"Probably just to talk with your friends. I'm busy with it right now."

"I'm sure you're just looking a naked girls with it. You can do that any time!"

"I'll call Mom if you don't leave."

"Alright, if you're going to act like that, I know ways to get at you." You stare at her oddly as she walks out of the room. What was that about? Regardless, you go back to your dealings on the computer.
