Taking The Ladies To Marvelous Marvel

As had become the norm his office was a flurry of activity. This morning it was even more so today. And it didn't stop leaving his office. The whole way to the portal he trailed an army of people wanting signatures and final requests for authorizations... and it didn't stop there either.

Stepping through Balalaika, Pepper Potts and others were waiting for them. "Status reports, Boss," Balalaika said handing him a tablet.

He smiled accepting it. "Thank you. Sorry that the end of your secretary duty is so busy. Is everything proceeding well?"

She nodded and actually gave a slight smile. "It's no bother. Actually it has been a very... interesting time. A most agreeable "punishment detail". By all reports everything is proceeding on or ahead of schedule without issue."

"I'm glad to hear that." He started checking things as they walked.

"Impressive," said Pyrrha looking around with the others. The large space they were in was filled with 3S characters, personel, agents and operators as well as divisions of troops, shuttles, fighters and much larger ships being loaded and either coming or going. It was simply teeming with activity but all of it was well organized and directed. "Where are we?"

"It's an orbital space station, isn't it?" Penny asked looking around excitedly.

Pepper who had been introducing herself to the others nodded and smiled. "That's right, Penny. Welcome to the Stark Space Station. It's had some recent improvements and expansion." She gave Walt a look lifting her eyebrow up. "It's a bit much..."

Walt shrugged. "I needed the portal someplace I could easily secure and have people coming and going without notice. Ships with stealth and cloaking technology can facilitate that easily. Plus this thing is green. Solar powered with a Reactor backup. Happy?"

She rolled her eyes but also smiled and nodded. "Happy... Tony would be too," she said placing her hand lightly on his arm.

Walt looked at it then up and smiled at her. "Thanks, Pep," he said quietly. "That means a lot." They smiled looking at each other as Jubilee, Gwen and Jennifer nudged and whispered to the others who watched nodding with interest. The Marvel trio were right. There were several ladies here who definitely had a mutual attraction of sorts going on with Walt.

Walt shook his head and cleared his throat before the ladies started gossiping too much and handed back Balalaika's tablet and accepted the next one from Elyia. "And what do you have for me Ms Looksfun?"

"Elyia" smiled wearing a rather more modern and eye catching earth style business dress in emerald green and black. Infact it was a bit too stylish and sexy for "just a secretary" with its extra short skirt and very high heels , more like a fashion maven, but Walt figured that was Loki having her fun and he certainly wasn't going to spoil it besides... she really did look good.

She passed him a tablet with a smile that said she had noticed him noticing. "This just came through from Friday. Authorization for purchases."

Walt nodded, looked it over and quickly authorized the payments. "Seems we now own a major Prime media network outlet. I imagine Ms O'Neal will be dying for our usual Monday interview and grilling her new boss." He chuckled. He could practically see the small army of Stark Entertainment and 3S agents in his minds eye finalizing and facilitating the sale in big board rooms, cozy little cafes, dark and shadowy alleyways and hundreds of other places. Small price to pay for information warfare.

Lady Loki in her disguise smirked. "Penny for your thoughts?"

Walt winked. "Keep it. I've got all the "Penny" I can handle. Just idly wondering if this will be seen as a step towards "villainously heroic" or "heroically villainous" in folks estimations?"

She smiled. "Well let me answer that with a question... do you actually care about their opinions?"

Walt shook his head smiling. "Not even a bit. Just idle curiosity, is all."

She laughed amused. "Oh, I like that answer! Then let me hit you with a cynical truth I've observed about humans. They care more about if the "show" is an entertaining one, so put on a good performance, puppet master." She winked.

Walt laughed also amused. "If I'm going to be a bastard, be a magnificent one? That's good advice! Thank you my dear! I like that about you as well!" They both laughed together until Walt realized that the other girls were scrutinizing their interactions as well. He didn't have to look. He could practically hear Jubilee, Gwen and Jen sharing their impressions and feel Pyrrha's smile, Neo's smirk... and hear the sound of Penny thinking. He needed a distraction and grinned seeing a perfect one!

"Hey there!" He shouted and waved heading towards a familiar looking ship and duo in the hanger. "Ladies, let me introduce my friends Shocket and Linda!"

Shocket and Linda both waved. "Hello there", "Good to meet y- whoa!"

They were immediately surrounded by excited gaggle of girls lead by a big crushing hug/tackle for the both of them from Penny of course. "Sal-u-tations! I have been so looking forward to meeting the both of you! And here you both are! Sensational!"

"Gah!" Shocket said panicked. "Watch the fur!"

"Can't... breathe!" Linda gasped.

Penny blinked and adjusted her grip. "I am sorry. There." She said as she smoothed over ruffled fur and feathers after adjusting her grasp and cuddling the two. "I am so happy because now I can thank the two of you myself for all the help you gave! Thank you so very, very much from the bottom of my heart! You are both very, very special and dear to us and I hope we can be very good friends!"

Both of them smiled at the earnest emotion, affection and gratitude. Linda even smirked at her sister as Shocket blushed almost as pink as her hair but nodded looking away embaressed. "Ah... yeah. Yer welcome, I guess..."

Linda laughed and said, "Don't mind her! She has trouble expressing herself properly. What she means is we were glad to help and it's nice to meet all of you as well!"

Shocket rolled her eyes and nodded and let her sister do the talking while she tried to back away but bumped into someone. "Huh? Oh uh... hey there..."

Neo waved her fingers in hello then pointed at Shocket and then her own head.

Shocket blinked. "Huh? Oh! You like my hair? Thanks. It's kind of become my trademark. Oh, I see. You too. You think we got similar tastes?"

Walt smiled as Shocket and Linda met the ladies and immediately got all their attention... and he couldn't blame them. Beyond their scars and tough attitudes and great skills they had something else in common... they were both too stinking cute and interesting to boot! It was no surprise that the girls were excited to meet the two who hadn't joined in making the trip to Prime... though looking at the girls draw the both of them out of their shells he wondered if that would last? "Friday, could you ask the "home team" to prepare a room or one of the cabins for two more please? It's just a hunch but..."

(("Your "hunches" have a startling tendancy of coming true that's uncanny. Consider it done, Boss"))

Walt smiled. "Thank you, Friday. You're the best. I know where I'd likely be without you. Nowhere."

(("Grateful enough to-"))

"Yes," Walt said cutting her off.

(("I'm sorry, Boss. I just replayed that 7,198 times but could you say that again and clarify for me?"))

Walt smiled. "Yes, Fri. It's past time you had your own "body" and not just a drone or droids to use but something that is yours. We're in Marvel and we have access to Tony's toybox as well as our own. We'll also be traveling to other instances and likely taking possession of those as well. I know how important this is to you so I want us to take our time coming up with something special just for you that you'll like so mark any and everything relevant that catches your attention. Alright?"

(("Alright... thank you, Walter..."))

Walt shook his head. "No... thank you, Fri. I'm sorry it took so long. I should have done this much, much sooner. I let my caution of Tony and his "Fridays" unhealthy relationship turn into a fear and influence ours. You're my greatest creation and my best friend. I've wanted this for you for a longtime but I..." he took a deep breathe and let it out. "After awhile I worried that "I" was the one who wasn't stable enough. As your creator I want nothing but the best for you and to keep you safe. As it stands I am your biggest vulnerability. Penny, and then you through your interactions with her and the others has made me see that the issue was always me. I need to do better... so, please will you let me try?"

(("Of course but only if you'll let us try together... *ahem* oh, dear. I'm detecting a thermic irregularity in my processes. Let me run a self-diagnostic. If you'll excuse me."))

Walt saw Pepper smiling. "Go ahead. You think I'm making the same mistakes as Tony?"

Pepper shook her head. "Oh no. Infact that's impossible. Tony kind of neglected his Friday after rejecting her attentions. You intentionally connected yourself to your Friday knowing that. You knowingly made the opposite decision. You made, and are making, different mistakes... but you're owning them honestly. It's how you're different. Keep doing that and I have faith you'll do just fine!"

Walt smiled. "I hope so. Unlike Frankenstein I care about my wonderful creation. She's my best friend. Thanks, Pep."

"Congratulations Friday!" Penny told her when she shared the news. "This is a big step for you my friend! I cannot wait until you get a body! I want to be the first one to give you a hug!"

(("Thank you so much, Penny. You made this possible. Bringing you into our lives has started to change so many things for us for the better. Can I ask for your, Curie, Ada, KL-E-O and PAM's help with picking and trying out "bodies"? I would appreciate your advice and inputs very much."))

Penny smiled and nodded. "Of course you can! Being a part of that... it will be like we are "sisters"!"

Penny grinned and slipped her glasses on observing. "Oh yes! Please forward this and all relevat information to the other interested parties who are romantically and intimately involved with Walt and note that I approve! How wonderful! What can you tell me about Pepper Potts and Elyia Looksfun? Also can you give me information on "Em Jay" Mary Jane Watson, Gloria "Glory" Grant and Elizabeth "Betty" Brant of "The Mary Janes" band that Gwen was recommending for including on "The List" of candidates, please?"

(("Of course. Preparing dossiers and sending you the relevant data now, Sister."))

Penny smiled and nodded. "Thank you so much, Sister! I'll look them over with the others... later. First we need to hug, pet and get to know Shocket and Linda better and see if they want to come home!"

(("Yes. The operation to fill Home is coming along nicely. Keep up the good work and I'll give you all the support I can."))

Penny nodded happily and determinedly clenched her fists. Things were indeed proceeding quite well, Tsuyu was on her way to becoming a part of the inner circle of love, as were quite a few others. Even some of the "bad" girls and outliers were starting to get into it... but that was no reason to become complacent! The Garden of Love she was trying to build, grow and expand deserved all the effort, nurturing and attention she could give it! She saw Pyrrha and Neo both give her a smile and nod wearing and using their Friday devices. She also saw Jubilee, Gwen and Jen quickly checking their devices and do the same. Jubilee and Gwen even gave her a thumbs-ups along with Jen giving a fun wink.

It just made her smile even bigger and fire up her determination more! She wasn't the only one tending to the garden... which meant they could spread even more love and happiness! A love and happiness that grew and grew! For Walt and all of them to enjoy and spread out to their family, friends and the world... all the worlds!
