Help Brian out?
That's what friends are for!
Theoretically, a person taken over will register anything you did as their own actions. You had seen Mom do it. So perhaps... if Brandi had a ring... you could make her fall back in love with Brian! Or at the very least see how she's really feeling.
Suddenly, using all the rings in one day felt a bit silly, but it was an easy enough fix.
"Dinner? My treat?" You asked Brian, hoping you could take his mind off things for now while you schemed "We can go wherever you want."
Brian smiled widely. His eyes were sad, but his face was grateful. You both usually regurgitated the stereotype of men not being able to talk about their emotions, so it was clear that even though he was a bit disappointed you could'nt give him any actual answers, he appreciated having you as his rock. Unbeknownst to him though, you planned to do much more than just listen.
"There's this one burger joint, not far from here. I used to go there a lot with her..." he replied sadly. You weren't exactly sure it was good for him to sink in thoughts about her, but you didn't know what else to say, so you just nodded.
As you made your way to the burger joint, you weighed your options carefully. It was a forgone conclusion that you'd help Brian with Brandi by now, but who's body would you give up to do so?
Brian lead you to the place, and you both ate mostly in quiet. He seemed deep in thought, and so were you. Funnily enough on the same person, but for two very different reasons.
