Attempting to move past the awkwardness

Victoria moved back to her seat across from max once she was calmed back down. Max chuckled as she asked "So, you want me to have me do a photoshoot of you?"

Victoria flushed red and put her head in her hands "Can we just forget I said that? I got really nervous."

"Victoria Chase? Got nervous? Never thought I'd see the day."

"Well excuse me. I have a really pretty girl sat in front of me and I really want to impress her but instead I'm just making a dork out of myself."

"Well, dorks are cute. But on a serious note I'm also very nervous because I don't want to say the wrong thing and you go running for the hills."

“I would never do that. You are the best person I’ve ever met. And there’s no fucking chance I’m making that same mistake she made.”

“That’s good to hear. You have no idea how worried I was that you would run off”

Victoria reached her hand across to hold Max’s hand “never. You’re stuck with me”

Max smiled “I could think of worse things to happen.”

After that they got past that they were able to just talk normally about hobbies and interests until they paid, and by that I mean Max tried to pay but Victoria refused and paid before max got the chance.

As they were leaving Max attached herself to Victoria’s arm “you could have at least let me split it”

“Absolutely not. I already told you. You date a chase you best be prepared to be spoiled rotten. Which is why I’m taking you shopping”

“Vic…”

“Nope, don’t wanna hear it. Besides I’ve got a lot of making up to do for being such a bitch to you before”

“You know, I can think of better ways to make it up to me that doesn’t involve spending money.” She said as she stepped in front of her and draggered her finger down the middle of her top “like that thing you did with your tounge last night”

“You are a little minx aren’t you?”

“Why don’t we go to your dorm room and find out?”
