Also known as the Forbidden Pokémon, this dark ghost type was imprisoned within the Hallowed Tower's keystone as punishment for misdeeds from 500 years ago.

After the tower fell, Spiritomb was released and sought out a way to remain undiscovered. After some thought, it elected to enter a human body and quickly found a suitable host.
