Shower Anyway

Grimacing, I square my shoulders and make my way to the stairs, knowing I'm completely naked and exposed but determined not to let it stop me, towel or not, from enjoying a hot shower. I quickly note people glancing my way, many of whom did double takes, and some even pointing, but I continued on my way. I manage to return the stairs with a smile, occasionally even waving, hearing my high heels *click-clacking* on the metal steps as I descend to the bottom floor.

Remaining casual, I felt the climate control stirring the air around me, keenly reminding me of my exposed, naked body. I managed none nonetheless, finally making it to the public showers. I open the door, step inside, and remove my high heels, which I placed with a soft note of wry amusement in my locker, noting I had. nothing else to place there. Closing and locking it up, I looked around quickly and took note that only the large, open shower area was available. This meant, my only choice was to shower, exposed as a high school locker room, or leave ... again, naked as I had entered the place.
