Misleading guess

"Ooh, Kasumi! You are going to get an earful!" Jane growled as she picked up her omnitool and dialed the thief's number...

Kasumi snorted with laughter as she sat in her bubble bath at her apartment, nearly dropping her bottle of saki as she watched some ancient television programming she downloaded. "Oh, Lord! That coyote will never learn..."

*Beep! Beep!*

"Ugh! Always on my day off." Kasumi groaned as she turned off the TV and reached over for her omnitool and answered it. "Yeah, what do you what?!"

"Kasumi!"

"S-Shepard?!" Kasumi stammered, slightly embarrassed as she sat up in the tub. "Sorry for that sour greeting. You kinda caught me at a bad -"

"I know you're behind this!" Jane snapped over the other end, "These little pranks of yours just went too far!"

Now Kasumi was insulted as she frowned. "Excuse me! I've done nothing wrong. Not today, at least."

"Don't you play dumb with me!" Jane snapped, "I know you stole my clothes while I was in the shower!"

"Wha- No I didn't!"

"Right, and I didn't win the war against The Reapers..."

"Shepard, I've been sitting in my bathtub, taking a bubble bath while watching carto- er, television all day." Kasumi stated, as she climbed out of the tub and reached for a towel. "When could I have found the time - WHAT THE HELL?!"

"And what's wrong now?" Jane asked skeptically.

"All my towels and robe are gone!" Kasumi screamed as she ran out of the bathroom and into her master bedroom. She gasped as she found that her curtains, sheets, pillows, and more importantly her clothes were all now missing. "Everything is gone! My clothes, my sheets and pillows; everything! This is so embarrassing, I've been robbed!"

Jane blinked a little in confusion. If Kasumi was in the same situation, and assuming she was telling the truth, then who -

*Beep! Beep!*

Jane looked back down at her omnitool, seeing Miranda's number flashing up at her. "Hold on, Kasumi. I have another call."

Jane put Kasumi on hold as she answered Miranda...

"Jane! We have a problem!" Miranda said in a slight panicked voice. "Jack and I just got out from the bath, but when we came back to our bedroom -"

"Don't tell me. All your clothes were gone?" Jane asked. "As well as literally anything you could use for cover?"

"... Exactly!" Miranda replied in shock. "How did you know?"

"I told you that fucking bitch got to her too!" Jane heard Jack's voice snap from the other end.
