Chloe's husband

Throwing on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, I hurried downstairs just as whoever was there knocked again. Could it be Chloe coming over to talk about what she'd just seen? I wondered hopefully for a brief second before dismissing the thought. She's a married woman with kids, Seth, snap out of it, I chastised myself as I looked through the peephole of the door, seeing Jack standing there. He looked agitated, excited, for some reason, fidgeting nervously as he waited for me to open the door.

"Hey, Seth,' he greeted me with a big smile as I opened the door.

"Hi," I replied somewhat hesitantly, unsure as to why he was there and what he was so excited about.

"I was just wondering if you were still coming over for dinner. "

"I was planning on it," I assure him with a nod.

"Good. Good," he says, nodding eagerly. "I've got to run the to store and grab some beer. You can head over anytime you're ready. Chloe is upstairs but the back door is always open," he assures me, "any particular beer you want?"

"Anything is fine with me," I tell him with an easy-going shrug.

"Great, I'll be back in about fifteen minutes," he assures me, motioning over his shoulder towards his house. "Go on over and get acquainted with Chloe," he suggests as he fishes his car keys out of his pocket and almost sprints towards the cars parked in front of his house.

"Weird," I mutter to myself as I watch him hop into his car and drive away. As he speeds down the street, I turn my gaze towards the Grayson's house, my mind filled with fantasies of being alone with Chloe now that her husband has gone. _Snap out of it,_I tell myself again as I feel my desire starting to build. Should I head over now and get acquainted with Chloe or wait the fifteen minutes for Jack to get back?
