The Next Morning

Walt woke up practically smothered. Jen was clutching him to her breast as she and Penny sandwiched him. Even if nothing comes of it I want them to know what an ideal man looks like and how he acts and would treat them."

Willow sighed but nodded. "Honestly... I wonder what my daughters will say or how they'll act when they join us? They're both so strong willed. They'll likely cause him so much grief knowing them... Then again... With their obvious father issues..." She sighed too but had an enigmatic smile. "I want them to know what a good man is like too... But they're both likely to be damn troublesome until they come around! Likely give me greif over my relationship as well."

"Ooooh!" Kali said bumping her hip and hugging her friend one armed. "So you think like that too? Do you really think they'll cause trouble? I wonder if they'll end up being more trouble than my Blake was before they come around... Because I am certain Walt will win them over for you!"

Willow smiled and returned the hug. "Thank you. It's a lot to hope for... But I believe Walt will find them! And... If anyone can get them to accept my happiness I believe in the man and friends who have brought that happiness into my life. That's Walt's real "power" after all."

The others grinned. "I'll get towels," Willow said hurrying away. "We'll watch Shogo," Kali added setting aside the toast and light breakfast she'd prepared and wraped. Senko filled Walt's thermos and added that passing the light breakfast to Tsuyu smiling. "You two have fun and enjoy your morning "date" together, dear!"

Tsuyu blinked. "Date? What but it's...!" Her eyes got wide... But so did her smile. "Right... A date can be anything where you spend time together, can't it?" She nodded and clutched the thoughtful bundle from the caring ladies as Willow quickly returned with towels and Lifts-Her-Tail and Ahnassi who had Walt's old backpack.

Lifts-Her-Tail held it out to Tsuyu smiling as Ahnassi patted her cheek. "Murrr... Ahnassi and Lita hope you have a "hoppy" little adventure this morning, sweetling."

"Good luck, Tsu!" Lita wished her with a wink holding out the pack.

Tsuyu still blushing but smiling happily nodded her head. They were right. Everyday was a chance for something new. It was up to her... and him. Together. They'd find out together. They smiled and waved watching her go.
