Office Surprise

Nell was the introverted work from home type of person. Even after corona, she had appreciated to be able to stay at home, sit on her couch or on her balcony. She was also the type of person that could focus very easily and just profited from being alone and not having to commute for two hours every day. She was also single so there was nobody who could disturb her habits. She had control over all of her life - at least that's how it felt.

One day, some news hit her therefore especially hard. The CEO of her company said, that everyone supposed to come back to their offices starting off with at least three days a week for a transition period, later for four days. She was disappointed, but did what she had to do and started commuting again - Mondays to Wednesdays.

Already the first week showed that she was more exhausted in the evenings, that she felt lost and strangely - also while still feeling the connection to her company - she didn't feel as over-committed as before to her actual work anymore. She was not so eager to finish tasks early, she started doing only the necessary things and she distracted herself in the office in kitchen chats and long lunches.

One day full of procrastinate thoughts in her head, she had the idea to open Chy, her dating app, just to have a look. So she went to the toilet and closed the cabin door. She opened the app and started Proximity, the feature where you could see who was nearby. To her surprised three people popped up one woman and two men all of them with high match factors. According to the distance, all three had to be in the office right now. They were coworkers.

The one with the highest match factor was an account called Lu66Cipher, a strange name that made her curious and felt a bit cringe at the same time. Without looking into the profile, she immediately imagined someone nerdy from IT. But she had to take a closer look, of course, so she opened the details. If the pictures were correct, that guy had quite an attractive body. For face pix, she had to go one level further and also reveal her own position in the app. Those were the rules. She hesitated. With a slight feeling of lust, she left the toilet and went back to work, but she couldn't think of much else that day.
