Luna was a woman on a mission. The ritual had been a revelation for her, the new Merlin was among them and in their heretic young stupidity they failed to see it !!!

Harry was happy. He has all the reasons to be happy ! He discovered the secret of the golden egg, already has at least three idea to stay a full hour under the water so nothing to be worries. This was it, the yule ball was there, Harry was wearing his brand new robe. Plus tonight he was feeling that he would finally lose his v card with Ginny... He received only silence from the teacher.

"Maybe because they ban me before even letting me explain my version of the story, going to the point of blackmailing some of the rare people who were ready to defend me... By the way, now that I think about it... You never bother to check on me about were I was sleeping." Now Harry was fully accusing her.

"Harry i..."

"Don't you dare calling me by my name." The ice in his voice would have make the outside snow hot in comparison.

"You never help me when I come for help, you never defend me when I was falsely accused, you never believe me when I came to you to warn of a imitent danger, and I'm not the only one in this case since you never bother to find out a way to help Neville to be better in class the only one who see Neville potential and encouraged him was professor Sprouts." Noticing that some people was starting to try to hear what he was saying to his teacher to make her so troubled he decided to stop here.

" So professor... With all due respect... Continue to do what you do so well, ignore my existence." He said with finality.

Unknown to him when she has started to teach Minerva had swear to herself that she would never become a uncaring teacher, she has always despite those people who only came to class to get paid and then abandon their pupils, had she becomes one of them ? Has she turned her head in the direction of one of the ice decorations the old teacher could almost see the disgusted look her younger self give her.

After this little altercation Harry joined Cedric and Krum who were both waiting for their date.

"I have to admit, Potter what you manage to do during the first task earned you the respect of many people in my school me included." Said the Bulgarian seeker in a rough English.

But before he could answer to the compliment his focus was somewhere else.

Ginny was descending the stairs and join Harry who was more than impressed by her Beauty. Cedric and Krum seam to be very focused on their own date.

Harry was taken away from his little world when he heard several gasps, some were in admiration other in outrage. And when he turn around he understood why quickly.

Fleur had made her entrance and it seems the ritual hit her harder than most judging by her dress.

"Bonsoir everyone, who are you ?" She said as if it was the most normal thing in the world to dress this way.

After small talk were made she look in Ginny direction and said "Miss Weasley, I hope Harry express his feeling on how beautiful you are tonight." She asked as if the answer could only be positive.

"Well... Thanks for the compliment... But no he didn't." She answered shyly.

"Tsk...tsk...tsk. Ah men... Does they need everything explained to them ?" She asked sarcastically, earnings snort from both Cho and Krum date.

"Monsieur Potter, if you wish to keep your girlfriend heart for yourself you should acknowledge her effort to be beautiful for you, otherwise..." She switched from educational to a more deeper voice as she gently caress Ginny from her cheek to her shin.

"... Someone more... Vocal about her beauty might take her away from you." The moment her speech was over she broke physical contact with the now heavily breathing redhead.

"You are right miss Delacour, but the night is still young I have still lot of time to make myself forgiven and to show my appreciation for my wonderful girlfriend work to be even more beautiful than ever." He say seductively to Ginny who was once more cursing her blush.

"By the way Fleur who is your date for tonight ?"

"Oh well..."

"Fleur ! you said you would wait for me !" Say Gabriel joining the group.

"To answer your question, after her aggression my mother only allow Gabby to come to the yule ball if I was her date and since the only boy we were both interested in already go with his girlfriend, we decided to go together."

before anyone could add anything the door opened, that was there cue to enter, and so they did.

The night was awesome, Harry had done his best to give Ginny the best night of her life and her constant smile seam to prove he had succeed. The other member of the crew seam to have a good time too it was good they all need it. So they dance, laugh, drink, explore each other (for the couples at least) well they act like young adult in a party like they should.

When the party was close to end Ginny came closer to Harry and whisper in his ear.

"Harry this night was wonderful, you deserve to receive your present early, come in your room 30 minute after I leave I need time to prepared, I'll give it to you there." she said and then she simply walk away swinging her hips knowing he was looking her ass.
