When you left again, she had an armful of old fantasy books, with a few more that she’d asked you to carry. Among them, copies of Lord of the Rings and Three Musketeers that could not have been printed any later than the sixties.

“I hope this isn’t too much? Hehe. I actually had to put a few back. But…If you want I can put some of them back?”

When you assured her that it was fine, she gave you a quick, happy peck on the cheek.

At some point, you walked past the old movie theater. One of those great movie palaces that were never built anymore. The building always seemed to pulse with a nostalgic aura. Not wanting your little summer date to end, you suggested the idea of watching a movie together. The memory of that trip of the movies would remain etched in your mind for a long time to come.{if Meek = false}

You stopped in front of the ticket stand and looked at the movies that were playing. Your wife assured you that she’d watch whatever you picked. Though, of course, there was an unspoken understanding that you should try to pick a movie she’d enjoy too.{endif}
