Why didn’t she walk away all those years ago?
Beginning
Aaron was in her Calculus class. Sure there were other cute guys in her class. It was safe to say any man in there was above the dimwits trying to buy her drinks at the local bar. They could at least put two and two together. Pun intended. She giggled at her own joke.
The heavy night of drinking took a toll and Aaron. Already warned once, the professor was stern on arriving on time or dropping the course. He was so close for his business degree. His eyes were on the prize.
Rushing through campus, into the building, two hallways and a misplaced trash can Aaron turned the final corner to see the doors click shut five feet in front of him. The click resonated to the fall in his stomach. His legs moved only by the hope he wouldn’t have to tell his parents about needing another semester..
