Candace looked around for the security agent she'd left her bags with, but he was nowhere to be seen.

"No, no, no, no!" she began panicking.

Unbeknownst to Candace, the agent had gone on his 15 minute break. He'd taken her bags with him for safe keeping, and would return in about five minutes. But Candace had no way of knowing this, and more importantly, had no time left to wait around.

Glancing down at her phone, she saw it read 3%. It was now or never. Out of options, Candace resigned herself to making the call.

Dialing the number her parents had given her, Candace finally connected with the taxi company. It took a few tries to find her voice, but Candace eventually was able to give them her name and location. They let her know where to expect them to arrive, and gave her a rough ETA of about 5 minutes. The nearly naked girl was surprised how quickly they would arrive, and immediately started heading for the airport's exits once she'd hung up. Poor Candace had no way of noticing the security agent arrive back at his post with her bags mere moments after she'd left the area. As Candace once again took an escalator down to towards baggage claim, she glanced at her phone again. The battery read 1% and could die at any second. She hastily began typing a text to her parents, letting them know she'd be home within the hour. The last thing she saw was that her message had been sent successfully, then her phone's screen suddenly shut off. Her phone had died.
