Just three shot glasses and some string

Candace's eyes lit up as she saw a Hudson News that was the last open store in the concourse. She ran inside, the phone in her hand the only thing separating her from being an animal.

"Excuse me," she ran up to the clerk with increasingly wide eyes, "I'm, uhhh, in a bit of a pinch and need some... clothes..."

"Sorry, miss," the clerk told her, "we only sell snacks, magazines, and novelties," as Candace began to grow pale and looked down at the floor.

The clerk noticed her countenance and started to assuage her, "well, everything else is closed right now, and we're about to close in a few minutes, but I think given your condition I can try to help you with a bikini," as he gestured towards the novelty section with snow globes and shot glasses.

"Ummm, what do you mean?" Candace couldn't believe her luck.

"Here, let me take these," the clerk walked over and took three plastic "I ❤️ Des Moines" shot glasses from the shelves, "and give them to you for free. I have a bit of twine behind my counter, you can have all of it and try to make something."

Candace took everything, "ummm... thanks...", turned and walked out of the store and into the emptying concourse, going into the second airport bathroom of the day with only a ball of string, three shot glasses, and her phone. After going into the stall, she had the sense to check the messages she had received (and, heaven forbid, any news coverage of her plane trip) and turned on her phone, noting with some concern its 10% battery.
