Ready for what?
Going out for some drinks and dancing
As we pulled apart, Taylor put her purse on the dinner table. She also had what appeared to be a small suitcase. "Oh no," I said. The purse was full of makeup, and the luggage contained likely several outfits. We were going to go out drinking again.
"Oh yes!" Taylor cheerfully replied.
"Taylor," I said. "I'm really don't feel like going out tonight."
Taylor opened her purse and started organizing the makeup. "Which is exactly why we need to. What else would you do tonight? Watch 'Buffy' for the millionth time?"
"Hey there's nothing wrong wi-" But she cut me off and started dragging me towards my room.
"Anyway, come on let's go. Let's find you something hot to wear."
"Ugh," I groaned, but went along with her. The bars weren't usually my thing, but maybe Taylor was right. Maybe this would be good for me. Lily and I never went out like this together, so it had been a while.
"Fine," I agreed.
"Yes!" Taylor cheered as we entered my room, with the purse and suitcase. "Now let's get you to turn some heads."
