Commission Accepted - Wendell & Bernadette

[Authors note - Special shout out and thanks to Withness. I hope it was worth the wait my friend.]

"Mr Wags. Welcome! Please have a seat."

"Wendell, please," said Wendell Wags as Dave shook his hand smiling. "I'm not that old yet and hearing to many people call me "Mr Wags" makes me think of my father, Mr Stark," he said with a wink.

Dave laughed. He was enjoying this consultation interview much more than previous one already. "I know exactly what you mean, Wendell so please just call me David if you'd like. I know I would! Can we offer you anything to drink perhaps? Coffee, tea, water-"

"Something stronger?" Harleen asked with a wink.

Wendell chuckled. "Anything's fine. Though you don't have to go out of your way for me."

Dave shook his head. "It's not a bother. We're a small company and we try to treat our clients well. I could use a coffee myself. Will that suit you? Harleen?" He sees them both nod and presses a button. "Tinker Bell. Could you bring us a pot of fresh coffee and three cups to my office, please?"

Tink's teasingly sing-song response comes out of a speaker. "I'll bring that right away, "Mister Stark", Sir!"

Dave shook his head rolling his eyes but smiled. "Thank you!"

Wendell chuckles. "Lively place."

Dave sighed but smiled. "It is. Working with several of my personal characters creates a relaxed but lively atmosphere. We keep things strictly professional at work but it really does make the worst workdays seem much more tolerable and fun just having them near. Of course it helps that they're both excellent at their jobs as well."

Wendell smiles. "Actually that's a bit what I'm looking for myself. A Character to assist with both my business and personal life. Is that common?"

Dave nodded. "It depends a bit on the individual owner or owners and the Character in question but in a word "yes". Personal assistant Characters are quite common and only grow more so every passing year. It used to be a status thing when RealDreams first went public but it's completely normal now to have Characters in a multitude of roles both in public and private these days. Famous secretaries are normal as are butlers and chefs for the home. Having a famous character retrained to provide in a different role is also quite popular."

Harleen nodded. "In the twenty-first century people were discovering the benefits, but also the drawbacks, to the "support animal" craze. By bringing their pets to work they reduced their stress in their environment and workplace easing anxiety. Unfortunately this was rather stressful for many of the pets involved. A lot of animals don't do well in those kinds of environments or situations. But imagine instead of an animal you had the companionship of a Character instead. And if that Character could actually help you do your job more efficiently or assist in the process at the same time, so much the better."

Wendell smiled and nodded. "That's exactly what I'm looking for. A personal assistant Character for both work and home and... well one who-"

There's a knock and Tink enters carrying a tray with the coffee carafe and three cups... and a tiny fourth one. "I hope you don't mind but I thought I'd join you since it was time for my break." She kissed Dave on the cheek. "I wanted to spend it with you!"

Dave shakes his head. "We're with a client, Tink. Keep it professional and only if Wendell here is ok with it. Wendell this is my Tinker Bell but she prefers Tink. Tink this is Wendell Wags. Since we're on the subject it may interest you to know that she along with Harley are both my personal characters who also help me in running the business here. I assure you they're both completely professional about confidentiality and the like but it's entirely up to you whether Tink stays or not."

"Hello, Wendell," Tink said. "Pleasure to meet you!"

Wendell grins at the unusual gothic fairy. "Yes, that's fine by me and it's a pleasure to meet you as well, Tink. And that's exactly what I want. A personal assistant and companion for both work and home!" He smiled. "We're also a small but growing business and I have been putting off hiring a secretary/assistant for far too long. Someone I can have an relationship I can enjoy at home but will also make my workday much more tolerable and enjoyable as well as being a help in both areas. What Harley- Oops, sorry I meant Doctor Quinzel said was true? It's common after all?"

Harleen smiled. "Relax Wendell. We're not in my office anymore so Harley or Harleen is just fine. "Doctor Quinzel" helps me keep things professional since that's how Dave likes things while we're "at work" when all I really want is for him to drag me to a broom closet and-"

"*Ahem* Harleen..." Dave said but he was smiling.

Harleen shrugged and chuckled. "See what I mean?"

Wendell chuckled too. "Actually that really puts me at ease."

Dave smiled. "Good because that's what we want. The more comfortable and open you are about what you want exactly the more we can do our job in trying to help you decide exactly what options and choices fit your particular needs, wants, desires and budget the best, realistically and responsibly. Each customer is different and deserves a custom tailored approach. Some realize they only need a bit of purchasing advice and really don't need any of our other services and that's just fine. Others realize that they really want or need something completely unique or "unusual" and that's also completely valid as well. This is a judgment free and completely confidential space where our job is try to help you make the best and most responsible decisions and choices that still exactly meet your particular needs and desires in a safe way and nothing more."

Wendell sipped at his beverage and nodded. "Very well. There's a Character I like. Bernadette Rostenkowski."

Dave thinks for just a moment before snapping his fingers. "From The Big Bang Theory? A fine choice."

"Who?" Harley asked.

Tink rolled her eyes. "Pepper could you display the information on Bernadette for us? Seriously Harls?"

Harleen shrugged. "I don't like watching sitcoms. They're just too sad for me."

Tink spun her finger around her ear indicating Harley was crazy while AI Pepper displayed the relevant information on "Bernadette Maryann Rostenkowski" for them all.

Dave smiled. "Well despite Harleens feelings on sitcoms in general she's a good choice. A long running well developed character. Second most popular female from her series over all. Former Beauty Pageant contestant and winner, waitress then turned doctor. She has brains as well as beauty and personality."

Wendell smiled. "Exactly. It's what I like about her character."

Harleen grinned. "She's also a little 4' 10" hottie!"

Wendell chuckled. "That too!"

Dave grinned and nodded. "So you find her attractive on multiple levels? No, no... that's a very good thing! Believe it or not a large part of Character Owner dissatisfaction is mostly on the owner. They see a cool new or classic beauty type character, becone infatuated and rush right into purchasing one for themselves... only to be disappointed when they realize they didn't actually know anything about the Character in question and they're either not equipped to handle owning them or they resent the Character having a personality completely different from the one they imagined in their heads."

Wendell smiled shaking his head. "Not me. I think she's attractive of course but I also like her general personality, sense of humor, quirks and traits... but... well..."

Dave smiled and nodded refilling Wendell's cup for him. "You want something more? That's perfectly fine, Wendell."

Tink grinned. "It's in the name. Custom Character Creations. The majority of our business is changing Characters either a little or a lot."

Harleen smiled as well. "And statistically speaking if you change your characters to your needs and then go the extra step in making them happy with their changes they create some of the strongest Owner/Character relationships and bonds because everyone is happy that way."

Wendell laughed and grinned. "You know what? You got me! Because that's exactly what I want! I do have certain preferences... but if you can make it so she has a complimentary preferences that really would be ideal! You all can do that?"

Harleen nods. "That's a large part of the reason you and I met first, Wendell. We do that with most of our clients. By not only interviewing a client for their basic interests and type of job they'd like to commission us for I also begin creating a bit of a profile on our customers. This allows us to create exactly that kind of situation for their Characters if that's what they want."

Dave nodded. "Not only can we customize your Bernadette for you but we can also create triggers for not only arousal and desire but affection and general likeability as well. We can make her see you as her "ideal" man if you'd like among other changes and tweaks. The more indepth the better. In the end she'd be the Bernadette that's "just right for you" and vice-versa as then you'd be her new ideal. And that'll make you both happy in the long run."

Wendell smiled. "In that case..."

---A While Later---

Dave smiled going down the checklist. "So it looks like we'll adjust Bernadette's values so she not only sees you as her ideal but also raise her affection, desire and arousal levels for your "type" specifically. We'll also go into her background/story and set her on a secretarial/ personal assistant path. We'll give her a secret, but very deep and fulfilling, submissive desire as well as "work place fantasies" about "serving" a boss just like you both personally and professionally. That'll make it very exciting and fulfilling for the both of you."

"Don't forget about the other slight increase in kinky behaviors!" Rika said excitedly. They'd quickly called her in as they'd started getting deep into the fun stuff and after a quick introduction she'd dove right in as the five of them custom tailored a story, sets of desires, fantasies and kinks for Bernadette to Wendell's exact specifications. "Rika has to say this desire to make Bernadette excited by slight exhibition play sounds particularly delicious! Coupled with the submission you'll have a lot of fun taking her various places and doing many things with her! Lucky girl."

Wendell chuckled. He was surprised but also pleased at how seriously but also passionately they were taking his request. Step by step they went through his many options and not only coaxed him for more information on his preferences but were very thoughtfully supportive of them as well. His "vision" for a Bernadette personal/sex assistant open to submission and light exhibition play hadn't changed but transformed into a secretly very sexualy fun and kinky girl with hidden desires that would mesh perfectly with his own. "Wendell?" Dave said stopping the girls. "You okay?"

Dave chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. "Thank you. That's always nice to hear and we get that a lot. The more a client shares the better we can tailor the experience and outcome to the satisfaction of all. Ultimately that's our job. Here," he passed the tablet to Wendell. "Look this over and see if there's anything further you'd like to change, adjust, add or customize further."

Wendell did. It was extremely extensive and indepth. Every change, tweak and adjustment they'd discussed and decided on... there was even a rather lengthy "backstory outline" that Rika and Harleen had worked out with him as to why she'd want to be a personal assistant/secretary instead of a Doctor in microbiology. They'd really gone above and beyond and Wendell swallowed as he neared the bottom of the estimate towards the price.

He blinked. "Uhmmm... is this accurate?"

Dave blinked fearing they'd made a mistake and double checked. He smiled and nodded. "Yes. It's a little high and we do ask for new clients to pay that much upfront. We had problems with certain clients in the past. But any repeat clients in good standing don't have to worry about that. Sorry it's so-"

"Low," Wendell said shaking his head. "I mean it's not cheap but this was less than I was expecting for a custom job."

Dave smiled. "We'll there's no real physical modifications so most of the work you're commissioning is mental. As you opted for not going with invasive surgical procedures there's no surgery and patient recovery time. The adjustments will be made while she's in stasis so while it will take a little while you get the benefit of the lowest stay rates while we keep her for the duration of the adjustment period. We also just finished a crazy week and this ones going a bit slow so we can devote a fair bit of extra attention on your commission and do it quickly as well as throughly so you're in luck. Your timing is very good. As long as there are no hold ups on RealDreams end of things we estimate we can have her completed for you by Friday at the earliest and this time next week at the very latest. Of course we'll happily keep her in stasis for you to pick up at a time of your convenience. We do require all owners to pick up and pay in full in 30 days after completion or they'll find themselves in violation of that clause but we rarely have that problem anymore and if you have extenuating circumstances we'll happily work with you towards a resolution."

Wendell laughed and shook his head. "I actually feel a bit bad after you all were so indepth in my needs. I figured the bill would be outrageous."

Rika smiled. "Oh no. This was a fun exercise for us. Some clients need days and days of complicated and exacting consultations before we can get close to starting." She made a face. "Like that one lady. She basically came with her own bad fanfic novel to insert into the characters head. A big one. Rika doesn't like to judge others but Rika thought her own head would explode reading it let alone having to stuff it into a Characters head!"

Dave smiled. "There are quite a few customization shops and options out there. We realize that customers can go down to some shady back alley chop shop to get their work done for cheap. We offer the opposite experience. A clinical or hospital experience with an artists touch as opposed to a sketchy but cheap hack job. But while we aren't cheap, we don't gouge our customers either. We want satisfied repeat customers who come back again... and most do I'm happy to say!"

Wendell laughed. "Well if you all can deliver on even half of this at this price you'll definitely see me come back!" He stick out his hand. "I have a few ideas for another time already!"

Dave smiled and shook Wendell's hand. "And we'll be looking forward to those ideas and projects as well! We're looking forward to this project Wendell and I promise we'll give it our very best effort! We'll be in touch every step of the way with progress updates and reports."

Tink smiled. "Alright, if you'll follow me we'll see about signing off on the paperwork and taking your payment and order from RealDreams so Dave and the others can get right to work for you, then we'll walk you out, Wendell!"

Wendell chuckled. "I guess I'll paymore for the long interview and the V.I.P. treatment."

Dave laughed and shook his head. "Not at all. Consultations are a flat fee no matter how long they go on. If we needed to continue and schedule further ones another day that's a different story. Like I said you got lucky coming at a good time. We genuinely enjoy this sort of thing and so that's how we do things! Besides like I said we're small. We try to give all our customers the V.I.P. treatment. Just how we like to do things."

Wendell grinned as he signed off on the paperwork that was already and waiting. "You know... I got a good feeling this might just be the best money I ever spent... or at least the one I'll enjoy the most outside of owning my Characters!" He winked and they all laughed.

Two lovely young women smiled seeing Wendell in the lobby. A Sansa and Maergery from Game of Thrones... though it took a moment to place them both. Sansa in her denim cutoff short shorts that were so small they would have made Daisy Duke proud! There was so little fabric left they were practically a thong... and Maergery in a miniskirt that was the definition of "micro mini". Every little movement threatened to flash her unmentionables. Both had croptops that showed off a lot of delicious skin and extremely high heels showing off their legs... and yet both courtsied like proper young ladies of noble houses of Westeros. "Welcome back, milord Wendell," they said in unison.

Wendell smiled but sighed. "They both quite enjoy modern things but they're still getting acclimated to things." He looked at Dave. "I don't suppose you have anything to help with that? Oops. I suppose that's another Consultation isn't it?"

Dave laughed and pulled out two cards handing them to Wendell. "This one's on the house. One is my card and the other is to my fathers business, 3S. A large part of 3S is training. All kinds of training by the very best instructors anyone can imagine. They could teach them everything from Warp core mechanics to basic first aid, martial arts to how to operate a smartphone. Simply pick the courses you want them, or yourself, instructed in and if you can't get them to a training center they can send a specialist to teach them at home, working around your schedule." Dave winked. "Drop my name and they'll likely get you a discount. Or when we're done with Bernadette if you want to schedule a consultation for the ladies we can go over other options then as well."

Wendell grinned. "I might just do that!" He placed both cards in his information packet. "Seriously... this was actually quite a delight! Thank you!"

Dave, Tink and Harley grinned. "For us too! Thank you for your business!" They waved seeing Wendell and his ladies off.

"Better than the last consultation?" Tink winked.

Harley laughed as Dave grinned. "Like night and day! How soon can RealDreams get us Bernadette?"

Tink nodded and showed him. "Wendell's purchase order has already been confirmed and of she doesn't arrive today we'll likely have her first thing tomorrow. Number 21 is free so it's already been made up to hold her."

"Blackjack," Dave said smiling. "Sounds like a winner to me! Well that was fun... but time to get back to work!"
