Chapter Three: A New Day Dawns

I woke up early again on Sunday to find Rory sleeping in and did my best not to wake him after the night he had had. I was sure he could use it. I gathered up my stuff and went to jump in the shower to wake up good before heading out to take some pictures. I could use some time to think and taking pics was how I did that. Shooting pics with Sam had made me feel a little guilty and only complicated things. I mean there was no way I could hook up with Sam but there was something there. Hopefully just a really weird friendship. Not like I needed to add a third girl to my love triangle. If anything she had given me some good advice on Julie and convinced me that it was time to let Alice go like she wanted and take a chance on something new.

I stuck my head out of the shower to make sure that Julie was not on the other side or something. As I was getting out a couple of guys came in. I got dressed and went back to my room where Rory was now up and sitting at her desk rubbing his eyes as he was talking to someone.

“Yeah I am going to be looking up to see what first-aid and CPR classes the school offers. Even if I have to take a night class or something. I am never going to feel that helpless again.” Rory said as he looked at the computer screen. Last night had shook him up pretty good. He had walked in the door and hugged me which was totally unlike him.

“I can't blame you dear.”

“Hey Mom. This is Jake.” He turned the laptop toward me and I saw an older short haired good looking blonde woman. It was clear Rory and his dad had a type. Se seemed to sitting at a table dressed in a night gown and robe on a balcony or somewhere outside drinking coffee meaning the sun was already up where she was calling from on the east coast.

“Hello dear. Heard you had quit the night as well.” She smiled as she sipped her coffee.

“You could say that. I wasn't even going to go to the party but changed my mind last minute.” I shook my head. That thought would stay with me for awhile.

“I am glad you did dear. Sorry if I woke you? I wanted to call and talk to RJ.” She said. I almost laughed at Rory being Called RJ which stood for Roy Chase Jr. Still no clue what his middle name. Rory threw me a look and rolled his yes at hearing the name.

“No. I beat him up for once. I have a class project.” I shrugged.

“At this hour on a weekend?”

“I want to get some pics of the sun rise for photography class. Unfortunately the sun doesn't work on my schedule.” I shrugged.

“No. I would say not.” She smiled and shook her head as well. “Heard you got quit the view last night when talking to Diana when she accidentally flashed you her breast?”

“Yeah. Not going to talk about that.” I replied.

“Sorry about her dear. She is nice but not the most reserved person.” Rory's mom replied.

“He forgot to tell me about that but I think he earned it after saving Amy. Was it just one or both?” Rory smiled.

“Roy Emerson Chase Jr.” She yelled using his full name as she crossed her arms over her chest pressing her large breasts up. “I hope my boy is not to much of a terrible roommate Jake. RJ can be a bit of a handful.”

“He is hardly ever here so I hardly notice him.” I shook my head.

“Sounds like him. He takes after me and his father to much.” She replied.

“Please don't compare me to dad.” Rory smirked.

“Sorry.” His mom shook her head. “You plan on taking your phone in this morning RJ?”

“First thing. It is under warranty and the guy who sold me the case said it was waterproof so they better be able to fix it or give me a new one and a refund on the case. I have it in a bag of rice to dry it I picked up on the way home last night. Nothing else we can have instant rice later.” Rory shook his head and looked at me.

“You have a lot on there?”

“Some. Most of my class work stuff I have backed up on my computer thankfully but my audio books for class I will have to download again. Can't really do much without them so I need my phone unless I get Jake or Amy to read all my chapter to me next week.” Rory smiled at me. Suddenly I realized why I had never seen him sit and study. He was doing it every-time he went for a run or to the gym. He would occasionally ask me to read something for him but typically he was stubborn and tried to do things alone.

“I understand dear. Let me know if you have any problems and I will handle it.” She said. I know Rory had said something about her being a lawyer once. It was his stepmom Vivian who had raised him.

“I will save the nuclear option as a last resort mom. No need to get my lawyer involved until I have tried charm first.” He shook his head.

“How is your film coming then?”

“I can shoot with my camera for now and do the stuff with my phone later.” He smirked. Meaning he couldn't really shoot the stuff for the chess pieces on his camera as easily as his phone.

“Well I won't keep you boys. Sounds like you both have things to do this morning.” She smiled.

“Diana has my number if you need to get a message or something for him to call you till he gets things sorted out.” I spoke up.

“Thank you dear.” She nodded.

“I love you mom.” He waved.

“Bye RJ. Love you to.” His mom smiled and blew him a kiss and hung up.

“RJ?” I teased.

“Dude. If you tell anyone I will **** you in your sleep.” He gave me a look

“Noted.”

“You have all your text books on your phone?” I asked wondering how much that cost him.

“Pretty much. I pay someone online to record them and listen to them whenever I work out. I would wear my headphones in the pool if I could but you saw how well that would work out yesterday.” He smirked as he grabbed his phone out of the bag of rice. It looked so small out of the huge case he typically had it in.

“Does that include sex as well?”

“Dude.” Rory threw me a look.

“It's a workout. Just wondering if I should get you the Kama Sutra on audio for Christmas. It be more for Amy then you really but...” I trailed off and shrugged gathering up my stuff.

“I am sure she appreciate it but probably better to get it in print with pictures for reference.” He smiled.

“Hey you know a good place to eat?” I asked.

“A few why?” He glanced up as he was trying to turn his phone on.

“Julie is a bit of a foodie...” I shrugged.

“And you want to take her out somewhere nice? Smooth.” Rory smiled and set his phone down. At this point it might take a Ouija Board for him to get any text off of it.

“Not nice per say just new. She likes to try different places and I know only the ones she has mentioned.” I smirked. I knew Rory could eat a whole pizza by himself so he had to know some decnt reasturants.

“Well if you go for breakfast the little dinner I go to just off the beaten trail is good. I always get the sampler because it comes with a bit over everything and I like to pack on the carbs so she might like that. If you go for dinner I know a nice little sit down place where Nick works with some great seafood though you need a suit.” Rory replied.

“I have a suit but not quit sure we are there yet.”

“Hey I took Amy there or first date dude to impress her. If it is money I can cover you. I kind of owe you and Nick can get you a reservation. If not for you the whole frat be in the deans office this morning kissing ass so all of them owe your ass.” Rory shook his head.

“She is more of a taco and Pizza girl as far as I know but I will ask her. Hate to get there and she tell me she is allergic to shellfish.”

“Could be worst. She could be allergic to nuts.” Rory shrugged.

“How is that worst?” I smirked. Gathering my things.

“She never be able to give you a blow job dude. I mean how could you love a girl like that.” he smiled slyly.

“Oh god Rory.” I closed my eyes and shook my head.

“I just hope you are not allergic to sea food for her sake dude.” Rory smiled.

I laughed and threw on my bag then grabbed my tripod.

I wanted to get some early morning pics from the hill just for me of the sunrise over the campus and maybe the observatory and to think. I made my way across campus as the street lights were still on but the sky was a deep blue. It was nice this time of day. Calm and peaceful with not a soul but me to be seen. The hill when I came to it looked peaceful now but typically during the day it was crowded and full of people. It was maybe a story above ground level with a row of steps leading up to terrace with small walls around it. Benches and tables around it.. I sighed as I saw observatory sat facing the north and dominated a large area on the hill meaning I could only get pics from the south so couldn't really get a sun rise picture on it unless I took one from below the hill looking up. Nothing else maybe I could get some sun rise pics. I walked over with my tripod and smiled as I saw someone else had beat me here. A certain purple haired senior in a pair of tight ass blue jeans and a loose fitting tee-shirt that hung from one shoulder.

“Damn. Beat me to it Karma.” I joked.

“You snooze you loose Williams but your welcome to join me.” She teased as she held out her hand to a spot beside her.

“Your class doing a project?” I asked.

“Yes but this is for the school. I am doing a piece on the best places to take pictures around campus for the school magazine.” She smiled as she leaned over looking through her camera and sticking her tight round ass out.

“We have a magazine?” I shook my head.

“Yep.” She replied as she hit the picture and stood back up. She was pointed out over the main campus building and bell tower. “It is put together by the students as sort of a way to gain work experience before graduation. It features stuff going on around campus as well as artwork, clothing, photography made by the students that stands out. I have a week to get these done and another week to do all the photo layouts in the magazine before this years first edition comes out.” She said. Made sense that it come out after a month giving the teachers time to submit stuff from the classes that stood out.

“Your the photo editor?” I asked.

“Guilty as charged as well as head photographer as you can see. A lot of work for a job that doesn't pay but it beats fetching coffee at an internship.” She smiled.

“Busy girl.” I grinned as I pointed my camera at the sunrise just wanting to get one or two pics as the sun came up.

“You don't know the half of it babe.” She said as she leaned over and checked her shot. She seemed to be shooting the main campus building and the bell tower as they stood out against the rising sun over many of the smaller campus buildings. She stood up after hitting the button.

“You get this one yet?” I dug out my phone and went through the pictures till I got to the inside of the chapel.

“Oh that is pretty.” She said as she stepped closer and put a hand on my shoulder.

“It is part of my architecture shoot. I got this right after sun rise.” I smiled.

“I will have to check it out after I shoot the sunrise over the lake.” She pointed toward the north. She seemed to have a schedule in her head of where and when she wanted to be so it might make an interesting read when it came out. “Want a little advice? Focus a little more on the foreground elements.” She waved her finger at the phone.

“Such as?”

“If you would have gotten the pews in the foreground more from a lower angle it would added a perspective of sitting in the church. One of my favorite pics you did of Alice was in the library when you looked through the books at her. Not so sure about the boobs in the shot but that is just me being jealous.” She smiled slyly

“Sorry.”

“But the fact that you had the book case her, and then the books around her added depth to the shot. If You were to shoot her in lingerie it would look amazing I am sure but it you added an image of a doorway in the foreground it create a sense that she was inviting you into the room. If you shot in a bedroom with a four post bed for example you would want to use those post to frame the shot while she is lying on the bed to add a sense of depth or have her looking out from behind the post in a close up.” She licked her lips subtly. She was a little coy about her sexuality but was dropping subtle hints. She hadn't mentioned Sam so she might not have talked to her today about last night. Sam had said they were more of friends with benefits then girlfriends.

“Thanks might have to try that.” I said stuffing my phone back in my pocket.

“Glad I could help. You are one of the best in your class and I look forward to seeing what you can do next.” She rubbed my shoulder before sliding her hands off slowly.

“What is your class doing this week? Curious what I have to look forward to.”

“Composition in Complex Scenes. Basically crowd shots where you have no control on the scene as the photographer. Creating something from chaos. Think of it as going to a crowded train station and trying to get a beautiful picture with some sort of symmetry.” She shook her head. I knew from trying to get everyone in a large wedding photo how tough it could be to do it with a dozen or so but had never really tried large crowd shots other then at high school football games and I typically picked someone in the crowd as the focal point of the shot.

“I just went the other way this week and photographed them out.” I joked.

“Using long exposure. Nice. I have done that when we had to shoot monuments around the city and the tourist kept getting in my shot.” She said as she moved her camera turning it southward at something but my eyes were more focus at the small but pert tit and firm succulent nipple peeking out.

“Um. Karma you may not want to bend over in that shirt like that.” I said looking away.

“Oh shit. Sorry. I was in a hurry this morning to get out the door to get these shots.” She said as she stood up and pulled her shirt up. “Not that I need a bra as you can sadly see.”

“Hey. What time did you get the picture of your model in front of the fountain?” She asked blowing off she had just flashed me.

“I am not sure. Four maybe. We came to see you right afterwards. I see it sometimes when classes let out for the day so it's all a matter of timing.” I grinned.

“I want to get that shot of the rainbows without the sexy ass babe in the shot. I don't mind it so much but can't put that in the magazine.” She teased.

“Might increase sells.” I shrugged.

“True but not sure the school administration would approve.” She laughed under her breath and reached out playfully ruffling my hair reminding me of my sister Nicky a little. “Well I am off to get the lake. Have a good day Williams.” She said as she leaned over giving me a quick flash of both her tits as she grabbed her bag off the ground

“Jake.” I said.

“Jake it is. Later then Jake.” She tossed her bag over her shoulder as the strap rested between her breasts making her hard nipples poke out through her top. She unhooked her camera throwing it around her neck and picked up her dolly heading off for the lake. Her ass twitching from side to side as she went. I set up catching one of the sky just before sunrise over the campus as it was lit up with color. It be coming up in a few minutes.

“Are you following me now you stalker.” A voice called out and I looked over to see Julie. She had a bag over one shoulder and a yoga mat under her arm as she walked toward my in a tee-shirt and a pair of sexy ass yoga pants that looked almost painted on showing off her long tone legs. Her hips swaying as she walked toward me.

“I was here first. If anyone is following anyone its you following me.” I teased.

“You are the one with the camera. For all I know you know my schedule and have been following me for weeks waiting for the right moment to make your move.” Julie grinned and poked my chest playfully as she smiled.
