Link reconsidered, and deactivated his ultrahand... for now. Purah was usually too curious for her own good. Maybe he could use that to his advantage. It would be fun to see where this went!

Link held up a banapple he had created earlier.

Purah stopped in mid-sentence as she looked at the new creation. Paya seemed to breath a sigh of relief at the sudden relative silence in the air. Purah took the fused fruits from Link's hand and turned it over a few times.

"Fascinating! No pins or glue or anything. They seem to be fused! Like, part of them somehow occupy the same space. How did you manage to do this?"

Link explained the powers of the ultrahand he had received from King Raru, at least the powers he had currently discovered. Purah listened, fascinated by his every word.

"Incredible! Solid matter passing through itself... temporarily gluing anything together... or permanently fusing them... and I'm sure you've barely even scratched the surface of that hand's true potential! This could give us the edge our army needs."

She tapped her wooden recorder on her shoulder as she pondered. "We MUST begin experimenting! Hmm... all we need is a good test subject."

She looked over to Paya. Paya's eyes suddenly went wide. She took a couple of steps backward and swallowed nervously.
