Julie decided to just sneak through the village. It consisted of a single main street with shops, restaurant and cafes, and a few winding streets with a few houses on each. Steep stairs cut in between the houses to connect the streets to one another. Taking those stairs would shelter her from traffic, but if she ran into someone on there there was nowhere to hide.

Of course, just as she was right about halfway a car came round the hairpin bend. It beeped at her as it drove past, and Julie groaned. Another group of people got to see her.
