An answer as to how this whole mess got started.

It literally explained everything. The big guy, who is apparently a basic Goblin enemy for this setting, got a Grail, and attacked the Amazons. They fell instantly, though none of them remember losing, and became breeding stock. They birthed the first bunch of goblins, who inherited their mom’s strength and dad’s “insta-win” ability. From there they kept interbreeding, amassing a goblin army, at which point Chaldea came to try and deal with the infestation. They couldn’t, obviously, and ended up perpetuating it by sending more Servants to the proverbial meat grinder.

Some of the spawned goblins died in initial Servant meetings, but I imagine those were the ones that didn’t manage to inherit the “insta-win” thing.

I time-froze the one that guided me after thanking him, untied big boy Goblin’s Grail from him, and took it for myself. These things granted wishes, if I’m not mistaken. His was probably to actually win for once, no matter how.

But… what would I want to wish for…?

… question for later, I have a goblin infestation to deal with. Though, how exactly should I deal with it?
