Report to Captain Zaitsev

Leaving Fedorov’s office is always a relief, but the sour taste of his cum still lingers in my mouth. He thinks that I won’t be able to handle my new job, but I’ll show him. I’m nervous about being out there, but it means that I’ll be seeing less of Fedorov.

I know where to find Zaitsev when he’s around. I’ve dealt with him a few times, running errands for Fedorov and Kozlov. It isn’t long before I find myself face to face with him. I greet him with a salute. Sergeant Dadonov is with him, and he gives me a friendly nod.

“Is there something you were supposed to tell me?” Captain Zaitsev asks me.

“Yes, sir.” I respond. “I have been transferred to your command by Commissar Fedorov.”

“You have?” He asks. “To do what?”

I hand him the folded piece of paper that Fedorov gave me. He takes it from my hand, unfolds it, and squints as he examines it, before beginning to read aloud.

“Take this stupid bitch off my hands and give her one of the piece of shit rifles. Put her right to work on your next mission. Don’t expect much out of her, because she is useless. Make sure she gets a taste of real combat but try not to let her get killed. Then, send her to my office.”

He puts the paper down and looks at me. “Are you as useless as the commissar says you are?”

“No, sir.” I tell him.

“Then you’ll do.” He says. “Sergeant.”

“Yes, sir?” Dadonov asks.

“I’m assigning her to your squad. Go by supply and get her set up with a rifle. Make sure she knows what to do. You’re responsible for her.” Zaitsev tells him.

“Yes, sir.” Dadonov says. Though he tries to hide it, I can hear apprehension in his voice.
