By the time his fingers were completely transformed, he felt his fingernails elongate into what he assumed where claws. After around 2 minutes, his mom released him and John pulled his hand out. After he examined his now red-scaled hand, he tried to snap as a test.

*SNAP*

"Phew!" John breathed as sigh of relief.

"I'm glad you're fffeeling better, Juliana," his mom said.
