“Works for me.” I shrugged. We grabbed our stuff and headed out of the cafe and back toward campus.

“So where all are you taking pictures tomorrow?” She asked after we left the cafe as she wrapped her arm in mine to walk close to me.

“Not sure yet. I figure I start in the east campus in the morning and head west. I made a list of possible places.” I reached into the side of my photo bag and pulled out a list of places I had made in the library.

“You shooting all these?” She asked as she took the list with her free arm.

“Just the ones with the right lightning that I can find. I never know how a place will look until I see it in person.” I shrug. I couldn't help but glance down at her breasts rubbing against my arm.

“So you hedged your bets and filled it with as many options as possible?” She gave a little laugh.

“Pretty much.” I shrugged. I wasn't sure how many I could find actually do so I wrote everything I could and hoped people could point me in the right direction.

“I wouldn't shoot at this one.” She pointed at one on my list with her thumb as she held it with her free arm.

“Why not?”

“The sorority house. Not sure how well a guy standing outside with a camera will go but its your call.” She gave a shrug.

“Fair point.” I shook my head as I took the list back.

“I guess that means me and you can do the quad and the hill to the west tomorrow afternoon. You can see a lot of the buildings from up there.”

“I actually haven't been up there yet so that could be fun.” I smiled. The hill as most called it was a little hard to miss as it overlooked part of the campus and was home to the observatory which was on my list. It wasn't a big hill per say being less then maybe a story tall but it was sort of a hang out for many of the students.

“You haven't.” She gave me a puzzled look. “Me and Mira and a bunch of the girls were sunbathing there our first weekend on campus.” Thank you for that image I thought to myself.

“None of my classes are near there. This is probably my first time even off campus other then the photo shop.” I shrugged.

“Well we will have to fix that. Oh if you like Japanese food I know a nice little sushi place nearby we can try some night.”

“It is not the kind that serves it off of the woman's bodies is it?” I joked thinking of my friend Rebecca and her anime.

“No they do not serve Nyotaimori.” Julie giggled and gave me a swat.

“You know the name of it?” I looked over.

“I can speak Japaneses though maybe not as well as I wish. I went to Japan during my senior trip. I feel in love with the Kimonos and clothing there.” She shrugged.

“Damn. And this is the farthest I have ever been from home.” I shook my head. She had traveled clear across the planet and I had never been more then a state or two from where I was born.

“Not home sick yet are you?” She teased.

“I miss the people not the place.” I gave a little shrug. That was the hard part about leaving. There were so many people I cared about that I was so used to seeing and now they were all gone.

“I feel you. I miss my family. Halloween will suck this year without them.” Julie frowned as well.

“Why is that?” I gave her a look wondering if she was secretly a goth or something.

“I always do costumes for my younger siblings and take them trick or treating to hit all the best neighborhoods. I don't have an excuse to do it this year to dress up and go house to house for candy.” Julie frowned. “I am so used to being the fun big sister and now everyone is the same age as me if not older. Growing up sucks some times.” We stopped at the crosswalk were Julie let go of my arm and hit to walk button to change the light so we could cross the street to head back onto campus.

“I have a pose for you.” Julie smiled as she leaned against the pole and kicked her leg back. Her skirt fluttering in the breeze as a car whiped by.

“Sure and one good gust of this wind from the passing cars and you be doing your best Marilyn Monroe impression.” I joked.

“So?” Julie smiled at me.

“So a few seconds later some guy is going to come by and ask how much you charge per hour if not the cops asking what we are doing.” I teased though it probably would not be to out of the ordinary for the cops given the campus was right there. I imagine they got all kinds of calls every year having to deal with the college students.

Julie laughed as she walked back toward me. “Please. I would be a high class escort thank you and not some street hooker. And I would at the very least charge three hundred per hour. If the cops did show up I could just say you are my PIMP or Player In a Management Position.”

“Oh sure throw me under the bus.” I gave her a grin as I shook my head.

“What. I am to pretty to go to jail.” Julie pouted and touched her chest then looked as the cars began to stop at the intersection. “Light changed. Come on.” She took my hand and **** me into the street as we crossed. We made it back to the main campus where small groups of students seemed to be heading off or chilling out in the grass as the sun was setting. I was sure everyone was glad it was the weekend.

“Here looks good for some pics. You want me to go change?” Julie smiled as she glanced around.

“Actually if you are up for it I like to try some just like that but different exposure speed.” I smiled and took her bag.

“Okay. Care to share with the class first so I know what we are doing?” Julie smiled.

“Just a slight long exposure where you walk by and I try to keep the camera on you. It is like a one forth of a second. I am sure you have to be tired of standing still.” I shrugged.

“Sure but if you wanted to get pics of my ass when I walk by you should have said so in the jeans sugar.” Julie gave a little wink and walked back a few paces and swayed her hips.

“Not what I am doing.” I shook my head and set my camera. At least with this I didn't need to set up my tri-pod. “Okay just walk by a few times.” I said as I raised it up. I waited for her to walk by and tracked her with the camera snapping the shot.

“You have the runway model walk down I see.” I smiled as she walked past.

“Ironically I tried being a model once but I was told my breasts were to big.” Julie said as she turned back around and touched her breasts for a second giving them a quick squeeze before letting them go.

“Blaspheme.” I replied and shook my head making her laugh. I raised my camera back up and took another shot as she passed and then another. “Okay.”

“Lets see what you have this time.” Julie said as she walked back over and slid a hand around my waist as she moved in close to see the screen.

I pulled up the pictures to see the background had streaked but she had remained in focus as the camera was moving with her.“See how it blurs the background but keeps you in focus to imply movement.” I smiled.

“I also see how great my boobs look mid bounce.” She playfully swatted my stomach. I couldn't help but notice it as well as they were in the process of mid heave.

“A happy accident.” I laughed. We headed over toward the fountains in the middle of the quad where I saw several people with there cameras already set up. Trevor stopping for second to give me a little wave from the other side of the fountains.

“Friends of yours?” Julie asked.

“Classmates.” I nodded as I saw Samantha as well.

“What are they doing?”

“Long exposure of the fountains I am guessing. See how the fountain changes patterns. In long exposure you would get all the different water patterns in one shot as the lights pass through the water so it would look really trippy especially in the setting sun like now. If I used long exposure during a fireworks show I would get every firework in the shot that went off over the whole length of a shot so it would fill the shot with fireworks instead of just getting a few.” I shrugged trying to explain it. Personally water could be a bit of a hit of miss to me in long exposure. Water falls and flowing waves looked more like rolling fog and not like water at all which was up Sam alley.

“Sort of like with the flashlight earlier?”

“Pretty close.” I nodded. We walked around behind where Sam seemed to be setting up a shot as she was leaned over with her ass sticking out behind her in her tight ass pair of black jeans. Sam was what you would get when you mixed a goth and a tomboy together. A goth girl who could kick your ass.

Jake. If you are going to stare at my ass you can at least take a picture of it for prosperity but let my shot finish first so your flash doesn't fuck it up.” Sam glanced back at me then stood up as she brushed her red hair from her face.

“Actually that was me staring. You are killing it in those jeans girl.” Julie replied and I couldn't disagree.

“Thanks.” Sam smiled as she turned towards us. I couldn't help but notice she had her digital camera around her neck against her breast to test the shots before she took them with her other camera. “You on an actual date Jake?”

“Not like that.” I shook my head.

“Only because he is still playing hard to get but I am wearing him down.” Julie teased.

“Suppose someone has to hold his leash.” Sam shrugged. Sam loved to pick on people. She walked over and grabbed her bag off of the ground and pulled out something and turned toward me. “Here. For the role of film you lent me the other day with interest.” She said holding out two roles of film.

“You didn't have to give me two.” I shook my head. I had loaned her one when she was in the middle of taking pictures and had run out last week when we were doing black and white photos.

“I hate owing people anything so now you can't ask me for a favor in return later plus I ordered it wholesale online so I am more then good for a little while.” She smirked and shoved them into my chest. I took it begrudgingly knowing not to argue and stuck them in my bag. “You going to shoot the fountain for class?”

“Maybe tomorrow using short exposure to catch the water in the air. I don't want to copy your work.” I shook my head. “I am just doing shots for Julie tonight with my digital.”

“Suit yourself.”

“So where else do you plan to shot at around campus?” I asked. I didn't want to just copy what she was doing. Maybe later when it was for fun and bragging rights were not on the line.

“After this when it's twilight I want to shoot outside the student chapel to get the light coming through the stain glasses using long exposure to get the outside of the building so it isn't all dark.” Sam smiled.
Sam had a good eye for light so I was sure she would get some really great shots through the stain glass. She had kicked my ass in the black and white shoot we did last week as she had used aerosol spray in front of her camera to add atmosphere that made her pics pop without needing color.

“I didn't know you were allowed on hollowed ground or do you use a telephoto lens.” I teased the goth hottie.

“Oh hey. You dropped this in class and I meant to give it back to you.” Sam reached into her pocket and pulled out her middle finger holding up tell me to go fuck myself as she smiled.

“Thanks. I was wondering where I left that fuck at. I was almost out of fucks to give.” I shrugged. We left Sam and Trevor to get there shots and headed past toward the center of the quad. Trevor had turned his attention to the main building as the lights had come on in the twilight hour casting the building in shades of golden light. A shot I was sure every student would try to get and every class before us had done to **** so I wasn't going to try.

“So you two seem friendly.” Jules teased.

“We have sort of a friendly rivalry going on between us since we meet. We help each other but also see who can get the better shot.” I shrugged. Sam was good and killed it during our black and white photography project so I could respect someone I knew was better then me. I needed someone to try and beat but how I could learn from as well.

“It is to bad we do not have any sparklers or else we could get some great shots probably even after dark.” I frowned thinking of the light writing earlier. “Though the campus police would probably frown on us using them on school grounds.” I was sure they did not want us running around with fireworks.

“No but I do have these.” Jules smiled and dug through her bag and pulled out a couple of glow sticks.

“What are you a girl scout and carry them for emergencies?” I joked. I mean I had some in my car but not in my backpack though I probably should have now that I thought about it.

“No. Break in case of rave. It is college so you never know when and where one might happen so it is best to be prepared.” Jules held out the two glow sticks, one in each hand, and gave a playful shrug. I had a feeling she had already been to a party of some kind before now.
