You fight (and lose)

There is no fighting skill that can prepare you to face an opponent as inhuman as the sentipede. Worse, this is not some mindless creature like a slime or one of the insect-like muck crawlers. The sentipede clearly knows and respects that you are a trained fighter. Rather than charging straight at you, it stops and scurries in a circle just out of reach, forcing you to turn to keep your face towards its vicious mandibles.

It lashes out with terrifying speed and you have just enough time to bring your arm up. It is wearing you out. Keeping you on the defensive. Forcing you to move and sway to avoid attack after attack, circling you at dizzying speed and bumping you off-balance with its long body. A strike aimed directly at your chest is too quick to dodge. You bring up your good arm and once again feel the burning of its venom followed by the numbness.

"It's almost over," says the announcer. "With her defenses down, now we will see the sentipede begin to curl around its prey."

Moments later you feel the powerful legs of the sentipede clamping to your shins, twisting, along with its body, around your thighs, clamping as it goes, quickly wrapping around you like a huge snake. You fall to the ground, face to face with its eyes and dripping mandibles.

"No, god," you moan, feeling true terror. The sentipede seems to enjoy your fear, not immediately striking, instead leaning close to your face and letting its venom drip onto your cheek. You turn away, moaning in terror.

The sentipede lashes out with its jaws, sinking them into your neck, injecting a debilitating quantity of poison into your veins. You lose all sense from the neck down and can only sob and stare in horror as the sentipede's many legs shred apart your workout clothes, exposing your naked flesh, wriggling and twisting like a serpent as it climb around you. It rolls you fully onto your back.
