Screen for help

"Help, Help me someone" Ruby screamed as the light of the sun began to enter the cargo hold. Normally the sight of the sun's lights would be a good thing but after spending hours in the darkness of the cargo hold Ruby's eyes struggled as the light hit her face. As spots appeared all around Ruby's eyes she could see the shapes of what she believed to be people entering the cargo hold.

"Help, let me out of here" Ruby screamed grabbing the bars of her cage to shake them. "Quiet pet" one of the voices screamed which shocked Ruby. Well, she couldn't see who this person was based on his voice and tone ruby guessed this person was a man, a man who had just called her a pet which angered Ruby.

"How dare he call me a pet" Ruby thought to herself she was no pet she was a victim. Out of frustration and anger, Ruby screamed "I'm no one's pet I'm a person and I don't belong here" Defiantly to the men. Ruby's screams for help though didn't have the impact she had hoped as once again the voice would scream at her. "I said be quiet pet" yelled the angry man ruby still couldn't make out. Just as all hope seemed lost another voice entered the cargo hold.

"That's enough Rick," another voice said as they entered the cargo hold. Ruby still couldn't see great but from the tone, Ruby guessed it was a woman's voice. "I'm sorry Angie" the man Ruby now knew as Rick said sheepishly. Ruby could tell from his expression that Rick respected Angie which made her think if she could just win Angie over then maybe she could still escape this nightmare.
