She needs to go back to the temple

A curse that makes anything she wears get destroyed? Who makes something like that? Leela wants to cry…but she needs to be strong. Her faith can get her through this. She gives a short prayer to the goddess, then feels encouraged. She can beat this curse! She just needs to find someone who can help…

And where better to find a curse breaker than among the cloister? Surely one of the priests or priestesses at the temple can help her…

Only problem is, the temple is right in the middle of the city, which means an hour long walk through town, naked… This is going to be embarrassing. But…how is she going to be able to do this? No options sound good.

On one hand, she could stick to daytime and stick to the main roads. This feels safer, but obviously it means that Leela’s naked body is going to be seen. A lot. Hundreds of people looking at her naked? That sounds too humiliating to handle.

On the other hand she could wait until nightfall and try to sneak through. This means there’s less chance she’s seen, but at the same time, she knows what kinds of folk prowl the streets at night. She’s tried nighttime evangelism before, and all it’s gotten her is harassed and groped. She doubts that will go any better while she’s naked.

Two options, but both sound terrible. But Leela will do anything she can to get out of this mess. She can only hope she gets out unscathed…
