A Mother-Daughter Duet.

With no hesitation you call up a mother accompanied by her daughter up to join you on stage. The daughter seemed the most interested in the show, all while her mother was trying to drag her back to her seat. A duo like this is what your crowd eats up. The Two women come up to the stage and take a seat at each of the chairs set up before you. "Thank you both for coming up for the fun." You say to the two women "Could you introduce yourselves to the audience?" You ask them kindly enough. "Yeah my name is Hailey" the daughter starts, "And this is my mother Willow." You look back to the two and ask "And what brings you two to my show tonight?" Willow soon chimes in to explain "My daughter practically begged me to see this show, I never would have thought we'd whore ourselves out to this silly game." Feeling a little hurt by the whore remark you pull out the Amethyst pendulum and present it to Willow. "Don't worry sweetheart you won't be whoring yourself to anyone." You reassure her as you begin to swing the pendulum.

The crowd dies out to let you work on the two ladies before you. Your Amethyst has only swung a few times fully, and yet both Willow and Hailey are already drawn to it. "That's right both of you just focus all your thoughts on the Amethyst. Let your minds fill its form." You tell them in your calm focused voice. Hailey and her mother are deeply focused on the pendulum you swing before them, slouching only slightly forward to put their everything into the Amethyst. "Worry not about the crowd or what they'd like to see. There is only you two and my words." You continue to recite your induction to them. Both the women are deeply focused on words. You can tell each word you say to them burrows deep into your mind. It is vividly clear to you that you don't need to use your full power to bring them under. "Just let your minds gently slip away from you, as you enter a fully deep and blissful trance." You tell them with a snap of your fingers, as they both fall back against the seats of their chairs deeply in trance.

You look upon your two new props as the crowd exchange startled gasps and whispers of curiosity. Wanting to waste no time you turn to the 18 year old slumped back peacefully in her chair and ask "So Hailey why not tell us why you wanted to do this with your Mommy here." In clear monotone Hailey responds with "Mom was worried we'd drift apart after I started college. This way we could do one last thing before my college years begin." The crowd let's out a coo of awes in appreciation for such a great request from the girl. "Was this what you had in mind for your last Mommy daughter day Willow?" You ask the significantly older woman in the other chair. "No. I do want to spend time with her before she leaves me, but such shameless such as this performance is not what I had in mind." Willow responds in a tone exactly like her daughter's. The crowd seems not to appreciate her response, but you know just the solution for show stoppers like her.
