What does she do?
She replies, carefully.
Sophie's cheeks get hot and red. No one, other than her parents, has ever said anything about her appearance. Certainly, she's never been called beautiful. She went to an all girls school and was discouraged from talking to boys by her parents.
"I should just ignore him," she thinks. But she can't. She wonders what he looks like. She imagines a dark, slim man with burning black eyes.
Sophie walks to her computer and hits 'Reply'. She types:
Zak,
Thank you for your message. I just arrived here in Jerusalem and I don't know my way around well enough to leave this block, but would still love to meet you in your flat tonight.
Best regards,
Sophie
