What's next?
The day comes
The weather is pretty sunny and that's what woke you up.
You remember fighting with the waves at night, but now there's no sign of that terrible storm.
"Aaaaah" you shout. You have the need to shout out terrible curses about your bad luck, but deep down you know it's for nothing.
On the bright side, you are on a lifeboat. There are supplies here, a flare and a guidebook on how to survive.
You read into it, just to have something to do.
day 1
"it's the beginning of this journal, hopefully it will keep me company..."
day 2
"The water is still very calm, no wind whatsoever."
day 7
"It's been a full week, I don't think they'll come back for me"
...
day 20
"Well, I've gone through half of my supplies, the wind is getting stronger"
day 25
You think about what do you want to write, biting on the pencil. You feel rain droplets hitting your back.
The wind is blowing sideways and the waves are starting to grow stronger. On the horizon you see a small, green island.
"No no no, I'm so close"
After an hour or so, you have to hold onto the boat because of the waves, the storm is definitely just getting started...
You close your eyes and hope for the best...
