Wait In The Capital Room

For now, you decide to just sit and wait it out in the capital room, enjoying the peace and calm that is your new home base. This is a place you will likely be spending a lot of time at in the coming months and years, so getting comfortable with it now is probably a good idea, especially before it gets too busy. You decide to take another quick look around just to enjoy the feelings you get from the space.

After a few minutes of relaxing, someone else finally has been chosen as a Cardinal as you hear the door open. Walking through you see a girl, who looks to be a freshman like yourself. She definitely catches your attention, to say the least and not just because she’s the only other person in the room or how she was early like you were. She’s not trying to wow anyone by any means, she’s not dressed erotically or anything of the sort, etc. But she’s got a brightness to her presence that commands some attention when she enters the room. A charming or charismatic vibe. Maybe it was just your initial impression before meeting her, but she seemed to be a pretty positive person. She would definitely fall into the category of someone who was « your type » and you’d consider her to be pretty attractive by your own standards.

« Hi! I’m Emily. Nice to meet you, you’re here early. » The girl initiated. An interesting start to say the least, you’d expect her to kind of avoid you or do her own thing. She’s definitely socially inclined and friendly to talk to you right away upon entering.

« Hey, I’m Lucas. Nice to meet you too. » You reply back being receptive, as she smiles softly. She takes a quick walk around the room to explore a little bit before she decides to sit down. Right next to you. This surprises you a lot, the whole Capital room is empty aside from the two of you and she could have picked any other place to sit, including some more comfortable chairs, a place near a table, or at least a place with more space for herself. Instead she clearly made it a point to want to sit next to you.

« Are you a freshman too? » She asks calmly after taking in a minute while sitting down to kind of absorb the room from the perspective you just did.

« Yeah, I am. I’d never heard of this place until my parents decided to send me here. I’m not sure if this feels like a trap or paradise yet. » You answer, as she laughs softly.

« I’m sure there’s definitely a mix of both. » She replies back, making eye contact. She then reaches down to touch her toes and stretch out a little bit, your first real glimpse into any possible details about her.

« Are you an athlete? I guess a lot of people are coming here for that. » You ask her taking notice of her physical appearance and condition. She’s not ripped and muscular at all, but she’s definitely in shape, an average size for a 18 year old starting college.

« Yeah, I’m a multi-sporter. Mainly Gym and Basketball, but I’ll probably try out for soccer too to see how it goes and just take the Summers off to load manage a bit. What gave you the hint? » She asks calmly.

Choices: 1- You’re really in shape so I figured you had to be. 2- I’m a star athlete too and I wanted to find common ground. 3- I noticed your flexibility just now, you seemed to be really athletic. 4- Honestly just a guess, I know people are coming here for the Athletics Programs. 5- The way you carry yourself gives off confidence even though this is your first day, you seem to be used to pressure.
