Chapter 4 by Guforess Guforess

How does the interior look like?

A mix of a pizzeria and diner

The interior was fairly big, looking like a pizza place with a dash of classic American diner designs sprinkled in.

The checkered floor was covered in a thick layer of dust, Isaac's shoes leaving prints on the dust like it was snow. As he looked around, he saw diner booths with cracked wood and leather that used to be a rich red, but had darkened in colour and formed cracks and tears from years of abandonment.

The steel tables and chairs had rusted, with metal fans that had seen better days spinning and shaking like they would fly apart any time.

He made his way to the security room he was told to report to, noting a kitchen and toilets (both he guessed were absolutely filthy), as well as a stage with 3 figures hidden in shadow (he could swear they were people if not for the fact that they stood eerily still).

At the security booth (which was stuffy and had no window to air it out), Issac sat on the leather office chair and faced the computer that acted as the mainframe for the security cameras, which was turned off. He glanced at the metal doors that seemed worryingly thick and looked out of place, like they were added in later instead of being part of the initial design. A part of him wonders what a pizzeria needed vault quality doors for, and the other part wasn't in a rush to find out.

Isaac checked the time: 12.00 a.m. Just on time.

Then, his phone rang, startling him a bit. He grabbed it and checked to see who was calling him, seeing "Security Job" in white letters on the screen.

Seems important. What's his employer calling about?
