Peter presses the mind control button

Peter looked down at the remote and saw a single button labeled mind control. Not wasting any time before his dad could try to grab the remote, he aimed and pressed the button. This time, no beam came out. Instead, his father suddenly stopped moving, stood up straight, and stared ahead in a hypnotic state

"Whoa, hello? Are you there?" Peter waved his hands in front of her, expecting her eyes to react, but she remained staring blankly. Peter, curious, then said, "Jump," and she did one short hop on command. This confirmed what Peter was thinking, his father, now a goth girl, was under his control.

He paced back and forth, thinking about what to do, until he came up with an idea. He wickedly smiled when he decided what he was going to do — he was going to give this girl a new identity.
