Chapter 21
by
Frizza
Is the backpack really where he said it was?
Yes, he is where he said he would be.
When Cassie comes out of the movie theater, she carefully walks to the counter and goes behind it.
Now behind the counter she sees the backpack directly.
She can't believe that she just actually fucked this guy just because she was too stupid to go behind the counter.
She gets her clothes out of the backpack and gets dressed. Her clothes from yesterday are no longer in there, but she actually finds her keys and wallet.
She gets extremely annoyed with herself. And how is she supposed to look the guy in the eye when he's about to come out?
She also feels like her breasts are minimally bigger than they were yesterday, now that she's standing here like this with nothing to do.
The movie only has 10 minutes left. She better come up with something fast. On the one hand she can understand him, he can't help it.
Charlie and Kira with their stupid tattoos and piercings are to blame. And of course she herself, because she didn't look behind the counter.
("Of course he thought I wanted all that! He put the backpack here for me as a way out and I stupid bitch, came back to him naked.") she thinks to herself.
When the movie is over, everyone leaves the theater, except the guy Cassie is waiting for.
It takes a little while again, but then he comes out and walks past Cassie with his head high.
"Wait!" She says. She doesn't know why, but she feels like she's to blame for the situation and for the guy being miserable now.
"What else is wrong?" He asks sheepishly.
"I'm sorry. It was a huge misunderstanding! Please don't feel bad about it." She says, knowing how it feels to be rejected without knowing why.
But she's going to explain it to him calmly now!
He starts grinning again.
"Ah, I see. It was just part of the game again and I should have stopped you." He says and winks. "Well, I know where you live now and what you like. But I'll probably just come back tomorrow and then you can really apologize to me for having to figure it all out myself." Then he turns and leaves the movie theater.
Cassie is too flabbergasted to say anything about it.
And again, she is annoyed at having said anything at all.
When she has somewhat caught herself, she looks in her purse. He has actually put money in it for her. 50 $ she feels like a prostitute who fucked for money.
Well, she can use the money to buy her own makeup to cover her tattoos.
The rest of the day there are no more unusual visits.
After a day where her body generally feels strange, Cassie heads to the back where her bike has been waiting for her since yesterday.
After closing the movie theater, she swings on her saddle, which she immediately regrets.
Her intimate piercings sting her extremely as she does so. So she gets off again, and pushes her bike home.
Of course, this takes quite a long time again. But she decides to eat something at a diner on the way, she doesn't think Magrid has calmed down enough to get anything at home.
As she waits for her food, she sees herself in the reflection of the mirrored served stand. How strange she is to herself.
Not only is she now wearing makeup to at least hide the tattoos on her face, yesterday morning she had no piercings on her face.
And also, until yesterday morning, she had only had sex with one guy. Now with five. And that was in the last 24 hours alone.
Only the "her food" of the waitress brings her back to the here and now.
"Tough day?" The 50-something, plump waitress asks.
"Tough two days." Says Cassie in frustration.
The waitress puts the food and a drink on the table and says.
"Oh, I think by tomorrow morning at the latest, after a full night's sleep, everything will be fine." Cassie smiles at her.
Because maybe she's right and everything really will be better in the morning at least. She starts to eat and only realizes how hungry she really is while eating. When her plate is completely empty and her drink is also empty, the waitress comes to her table with a piece of cake and a cup of coffee.
"Here, it's for free, a piece of cake helps against everything!" She says kindly.
"Oh, that's so sweet of them, thank you so much." Cassie thanks her, because that's the kindest thing that's happened to her in weeks.
Overjoyed, she takes a fork of the cake. It tastes like heaven.
As she takes a sip of the hot coffee, she notices how it further calms her.
She looks around more relaxed now as her gaze catches on two old guys who are practically staring at her.
She quickly looks away and concentrates on her plate again.
Until she sees in the corner of her eye that the guys are now standing next to her. Anxiously, she looks up.
"See, it's actually her!" Says one directed at the other, but looking at Cassie as he does so.
"You're a dirty one!" Says he, apparently.
Just as one touches her, the waitress joins in.
"Leave her alone right now!" She shouts. The whole diner glares at her.
The man takes his hand from Cassie and says to the waitress.
"She wants it that way! Look!" Says he, showing the waitress his cell phone.
"But there's no way in hell..." Says she, looking at Cassie.
"You better pay now, and then leave the dinner!" Says the waitress seriously.
Cassie doesn't know what she did wrong, but she pulls out her money and leaves a decent tip.
"I can do without your tip! Now go!" Says the waitress.
Cassie picks up a serving from the served rack, seeing her reflection again.
[I SUCK] she can read there again large on her lips.
A glance at the white coffee cup reveals where her lipstick has gone.
"It's not what they think!" Cassie tries to explain, but the waitress takes the money, the cake and the cup from the table and says.
"If you don't leave right now, I'm calling the cops!"
Frightened and disappointed, Cassie gets up and leaves the dinner.
Just as she unlocks her bike, she hears the two guys behind her again.
"Now we're finally undisturbed!" Says one of them.
Cassie grabs her bike and jumps on it.
She doesn't care about the pain right now, she just wants to get out of here as fast as she can.
Can she get away from them?
