Once the clothes are off, any thoughts Sal might’ve had about taking the lead are put quickly to bed. Pride is the last thing on her mind as she thrashes on Athena’s bed, her body covered in lipstick prints. She gasps hoarsely, looking into Athena’s eyes as Athena’s fingers work expertly between her legs. Athena’s sexy, aloof smile is almost as intense as her touch. She brings Sal to a sobbing, shuddering orgasm with no more effort than she probably expends to check her phone in the morning.

Sal feels her walls clenching on Athena’s finger.

Athena withdraws that finger and licks it off, then rests her hand on Sal’s heaving chest. She leans in for a soft kiss, then snuggles up.

Weakly, Sal puts her arm around her.

“Mm. That’s nice,” Athena murmurs.

Sal smiles at the ceiling. “Is that what you do? Assert dominance, then act all girly?”

“Was there something not girly about how I asserted dominance?”

“More like ice queeny. Dom queeny. Not ice. I don’t know.”

“Maybe I wasn’t asserting dominance. Maybe I just like seeing a pretty girl cum.”

“I came big time,” Sal admits dazedly.

“And you were cute doing it,” Athena tells her, trailing her finger along Sal’s lips, then coming in for another kiss. “I had to pay you back for letting me borrow your vibrator.”

“I forgot about that.”

“You forgot our romantic night together? Where you snored all night?”

“Did I really? You can just wake me up and I’ll turn on my side.”

“No, it was cute. Like a little puppy snoring. I liked it.” Athena touches the tip of Sal’s nose with her fingertip.

“God. I guess this is what it feels like to be a CCL pledge.”

“You think I do this with all my pledges?”

“Just me, huh?”

“You aren’t a pledge. But that does give me an idea.”

Sal laughs, reciprocating a few soft kisses and nuzzling. Athena draws back and pushes Sal’s hair out of her face.

“Lots of ideas,” she adds.

“You sound like Meri.”

“We have some similarities. A penchant for scheming.”

“Now I’m a pawn on your board.”

“I’d use the word queen,” Athena corrects her. “We’re equals, Sal. Is that what you’re worried about? Is that why you’re being weird?” She raises one hand threateningly, making tickling gestures.

“We can’t both be on top,” Sal tells her frankly.

Athena looks thoughtful. “Physically true. Philosophically questionable.”

“Is this a Meri impression?”

“Am I not allowed to just be annoying on my own?”

“You can do whatever you want. I’ll probably like it.”

“Aww.” Athena cocks her head, then dips back for another smooch. “Like I was saying, philosophically questionable. I approached you running on a platform of mutual benefit. I guess you’re suggesting that it’s not completely equitable.”

“I’m not suggesting anything. I don’t mind if you treat me like a pledge.”

“I’ll remember that you said that. But now I have to win the argument.”

“Oh my god.” Sal laughs. “Of course you do. Were we arguing?”

“We are now. On top. Equity. You accused me of being an evil tyrant.”

“I don’t remember saying that.”

“I have to prove that I’m not.”

“You really don’t.”

“I have to show you. With actions. Not words. Look. Observe the equity.”

What Sal observes is Athena repositioning to sixty-nine. She suddenly has a close-up view of Athena’s womanhood. Sal takes a sharp breath as she feels Athena’s fingers touch her, then her breath down there.

Sal wakes from the momentary daze from the sight and scent of Athena up close like this.

“OK, I just want to say that I think for the whole conversation you’ve been saying equity when you meant equality,” Sal says.

Athena looks up, twisting to peer at Sal.

“I’m sorry. Are you not doing it with me?”

Sal snorts. She grabs Athena’s hips, opens her mouth, and participates.
